@NobodyI17837853 Also one of Hal's last lines is 'Don't be afraid to be afraid' which I assume its why John added it to his oath

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@NobodyI17837853 His lantern contains fear, embracing could be him stating he understands his willpower is tied (literally because of the lantern) to fear. I also like the fact his lantern has a literally Yellow Impurity not just a metaphorical one.

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@NobodyI17837853 In your comment you were specifically talking about how the line 'I'll embrace my fear' was the issue you had with the oath not the oath being changed. Most GL comics are about embracing and understanding and overcoming fear why would that piss you off if you are a reader?

‘Godzilla Minus One’ director Takashi Yamazaki's first-ever English language film ‘GRANDGEAR’ will release on January 14, 2028 in theaters.

The film will include mechs battling each other.

@XBOX @asha_shar you know what would be cool is more genres on Xbox's search function. Why is horror not a genre? One of the reasons steam is so great is that its eaay to find what you are looking for and similar games

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie "How about we stop our police force from doing police work" good job you have explained the entire point of Green lantern's comics about Manhunters and the guardians being shit at their jobs which is the point of most green lantern books.
I knew you would get there eventually

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie Ok, a core point of GL comics is that the guardians hide things from GLs so it would be logical that scanning it with the ring might not show anything or alert the guardians which Hal did not want.
The scan ability could be compromised or alter the guardians so Hal avoided

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie were talking about a universe with kryptonians and green magic rings. You think it's not possible that the kill switch is bio organic tech, genetic or designed specifically by the guardians to be undetectable by green lantern tech to cover up their past mistakes?

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie Antaan didnt trust the Green Lantern killing the Manhunter so tracked where his ship went which led to Earth

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie So again listening/watching the show give answers
Antaan didn't kill the other manhunters the guardians activated a kill switch and the last manhunter survived (they dont know how) then escaped and hid on Antaan's planet before being caught by Abin Sur

[Brendan @CreativeBrendan]

@VoicingDragoon7 @whysojellie The manhunter was familiar with the aliens (they his among them previously) and provided more extensive knowledge to id the aliens with the detectors.
Antaan and his aliens hate the Guardians so were specifically avoiding Hal
GL rings can't kill
