@PopTechWorks Yes, libraries! One of the few remaining public spaces in our cities where people from different backgrounds can engage with one another around shared interests and ideas. They are still about books, but they are also about ideas and the enactment of a public and a society.

@CrAaronHawkins It was one of those events where you look around and recognise most of the people in the audience, including NZ politicians, city counsellors, Dunedin (and New Zealand) music icons and former students who aren't famous yet. Such a celebration. A night to remember, for sure.
