Thinking back in the current Chelsea situation. Chelsea came very very close in signing Michael Olise and Victor Osimhen, the funny thing is, Chelsea agreed to meet the club valuations of both players. Chelsea initially triggered clauses of £35M in olise deal, Palace wasn't happy, they reported Chelsea to the FA and Chelsea withdrew.
Chelsea went in again and told palace, the fee wasn't the problem but they refused to agree £220K a week ages which the player demanded, Osimhen requested Chelsea should match is Napoli wages even if they didn't increase it, which was £250K a week wages
Imagine Chelsea signed Michael Olise and Victor Osimhen, I think we wouldn't be in the situation, it would have changes the trajectory of things here. We almost got 2 world class stars on a cheap and the sporting directors blew everything.

If Chelsea are a serious club they are holding a press conference on 90 minutes, telling us that they have completely failed with the project and changing it, telling us they are sacking the SDs with immediate effect, and telling us they are sacking Liam Rosenior. Simple.
This Jørgensen decision has likely cost us the tie.
I've been holding back on talking about this until I saw the reasons for it but this has been an absolute own-goal by Rosenior.
I understand he wants to play with the GK as an extra outfield player in possession, however we simply don't have the goalkeepers for it. Adapt to that.
Just because Filip is better at short-passing than Sanchez doesn't mean he's good enough to actually play this way.
You use him instead of Sanchez and what does he do today? He costs us a goal doing exactly what you feared Sanchez would do.
The Kvaratshkelia goal as well – a routine save for Sanchez is a goal against Jørgensen.
Sanchez was one of the best pure goalkeepers in the Premier League and a leader in the group but you cast him away for a below average, error prone GK with a weak mentality.
He should have played on the strengths of our players until the end of the season, when we would have a chance to make changes to the squad. Now we can't because Sanchez's confidence and momentum has been wrecked.
He's talking about our players constantly shooting themselves in the foot but my God have you not topped that with this. You took a shotgun and at point blank range blew your entire foot off.
Very poor from Rosenior.
