Also, threatened with violence by a member of estate management during filming for a wedding.

Apparently, @Hillingdon council can now dictate to @RAFNortholt who can fly in @UK_CAA regulated airspace.

I've just been told by the ATC that I need the councils permission before they can authorise a drone flight from privately owned land. Erm...

@quentynblog @gorilladrones @UAVHive @Hillingdon @RAFNortholt @UK_CAA Flown within their aerodrome twice. Once in 2019, and at the same location in 2020.

The 2020 ATC approval paperwork went missing (at their end) and they granted me permission whilst on-site. Even stayed on the phone until a plane landed and approved me then and there.

A bit later Gatwick security called and ask if I could confirm my new drone ID as it's not the same one their system is picking up. I explain that I'm in Kent and that my job at that location was pulled 3 days ago. It's nothing to do with me. (2/2)

I've just received a call from the police regarding a drone flight happening 2km south of the runway. They wanted to verify if it was us, as we were due to fly at that location. Apparently, they had detected a drone flying in that area. (1/2)
