@CalMac_Updates Hello I’ve been trying to ring to see if there are any cancellations for today or tomorrow to go from Oban to Craignure in a small vw campervan. Can’t get through on the phone and read you can’t just turn up. If not then is it best to drive to the lochaline port?
@beccacaddy@katylcowan@creativeboom I love this book too, kept with the morning pages and artist date altho not quite as regularly as when doing the book!
@katylcowan@creativeboom I take a week or so off head off in my campervan and get back to nature, I’ll often take a sketch book and do some drawing for the fun of it. Also going to workshops and visiting art galleries is a bit of inhaling inspiration when so much can be used creating.
@jm0ses@Right_2Roam Yes will do have some more photos and how I contacted council and ramblers to try get it as a right of way but so much red tape that trespass was the best form of protest!
@jm0ses@Right_2Roam The “preservation for nature” argument is a joke the woods has always been rich with wildlife. These are people building massive homes and having fields for horses instead of wild meadows! Much worse for wildlife than people strolling through a small section of woodland
@jm0ses@Right_2Roam A lovely woodland in Bollington used daily by myself who lived in a garden less flat and local community, kids making dens and playing suddenly barbed wire off from a greedy landowner. I put this sign up and there was quite a response!
@jm0ses@Right_2Roam The landowner unwilling to compromise and already an owner of acres of land with no interest in the woodland other than it being an investement opportunity. I felt on edge sitting and watching the birds after all the signs and barbed wire went up.
@jm0ses@Right_2Roam I continued to head in but each week more barbed wire appeared so it made it difficult unless you risked ripped clothes. I loved seeing kids replace her “private woodland” signs with smiley faces but only the rebellious spirits walked through once the fence came up
@folliehuller I prefer working upto xmas Eve then take 2 weeks off + spend NY in my campervan climbing a mountain somewhere I find hard to switch off staying at home. I’ve seen the power of taking breaks never feel guilty as it keeps my creativity thriving I listen to my body not my mind!
@katylcowan@creativeboom I meet with a couple of other self employed friends we go for a walk, set our intentions using natural objects, head for a nice lunch and then create vision boards or a visual one page year plan. Always helps ease in to the new year!

@katylcowan Mixture of email, Zoom's, Calendly and Loom. I use a simple drag and drop to do list called Plan as I found trello/dubsado/asana etc too MUCH! Also explored client portals but came to the conclusion we already have enough to learn so email keeps it simple. https://t.co/NVicXWfdLA
