I don't see how people (I use that term loosely) can be so cruel. It is just evil 🤬 I hope they got jail time
Thank goodness & kudos to this Director at Edgars and Ivy Catsanctuary for not giving up. What a great place and folks
Spoiler alert: He makes it. What a fighter 🐱
In Manchester, New Hampshire, 86-year-old Ned Tarmey was brutally attacked outside his home when a neighbor began hurling bricks, rocks, and furniture at him.
Without hesitation, his rescue dog Kane sprang into action. Kane fearlessly tackled the attacker, pinned him to the ground, and held him down until police arrived.
Both Ned and Kane were taken to the hospital after the incident, but they were happily reunited the following day. Ned’s heartfelt message to his loyal companion said it all: “You saved my life.”
A powerful reminder that a loyal dog is far more than just a pet: sometimes they are family, protector, and hero all in one.
At first, the little puppy was terrified and panicked, but it quickly became so happy and relieved when it felt the love and care from the rescuers. Deep down, the pup knew it had finally found its forever loving family 💗
No words are needed; her cry says it all. The little girl, who grew up with "her" bull, teaches us a lesson in humanity and empathy by desperately begging for this animal's life. "He didn't do anything, he just wants to go home….”
A 90-pound German Shepherd K-9 named Ranger got really upset when his handler, Officer Davis was taken to the ICU after a sudden medical emergency.
Ranger went to his teams vehicle. Stood guard when he got to the hospital.
He walked around. Howled loudly.
The officers tried to calm him down. He just wanted to find his handler.
The hospital ICU had a no-animals rule.
This put both the officers and medical staff in a spot.
Ranger thought his partner was inside. He needed to see him.
A solution was finally found. Ranger was brought to a window on the floor.
Three officers carefully lifted him on their shoulders so he could see through the window.
The minute Ranger saw Officer Davis through the glass he changed instantly.
He had been howling,. Now he started wagging his tail and looked excited.
Officer Davis, who was weak waved slightly at his K-9.
That moment shook everyone and even the hospital staff were moved.
According to reports this short reunion helped not the dog but also Officer Davis.
This moment shows that the bond, between K-9s and their handlers is not a job but a deep emotional connection.
Ranger and Officer Davis proved that.
The K-9 and his handler had a bond.
Happy 3️⃣7️⃣th Anniversary!
"Breakthru" 🥳🚂
One of my all-time favorite songs, released on June 19, 1989. ❤️
"The video for 'Breakthru' was shot during an incredibly hot two summer days and I remember vividly Freddie complaining on the morning of the second day how he had had very little sleep the previous night in the stiflingly hot hotel rooms which, in the midst of the English countryside, of course had no air-conditioning."

A close encounter with a baby Jay.
“Hello Mrs Nut Fairy I’ve heard the grubs good here “
What an encounter, I’m so lucky obviously not scared of humans yet 😍🐦🐾🐾❤️
I was about to head home after my shift when I passed a kennel and noticed a large German Shepherd lying quietly on his bed 🥺
In a shelter full of noise and barking, it’s rare to see a dog so still… and that alone made me stop.
His name is King.
I went into his kennel to check on him. He looked at me for just a moment… then slowly put his head back down 💔
I couldn’t just walk away, so I took him outside to spend some time with him.
When I checked his kennel card, I saw he had been surrendered just yesterday.
King is an 8-year-old German Shepherd, weighing over 100 lbs. He’s house-trained, and good with kids, cats, and other dogs — everything you’d want in a loyal companion.
Once we got outside, little by little, I watched him start to come back to life 🥹

It’s true, an Elephant never forgets 🐘.
This is Darrick Thompson. He left his career as a Toronto firefighter to devote his life to caring for Elephants at the Elephant Nature Park in Thailand with Lek Chailert. He had to leave them for 14 months due to a family emergency. He couldn't have expected this upon returning.

Otto finally made some friends 🥰💗
Because of his large size and intimidating appearance, Otto often made people nervous, even though all he wanted was some affection and someone to play with. Seeing this, his owner gave him a sign that read: “I’m a good boy! Please pet me!”
From that moment on, people started approaching him. Children were no longer afraid, and Otto soon made lots of new friends.
Don’t be too quick to judge someone by their appearance. Sometimes, a warm and loving heart is hidden behind a look that seems intimidating at first glance.
"I always had Freddie to turn to and he always had me to turn to if need be. Suddenly, there wasn’t anyone to help me. It made me realise that I wasn’t as self-sufficient as I would have liked to have been. As much as I’d been a friend to him, I realised how much a friend he’d been to me—the fact of just knowing that he was there."
- Mary Austin
"He was always very protective of me. I only realised after he died, quite how protective he’d been. If something happened he’d say, 'Oh darling, don’t worry we’ll get over that.'"

Freddie’s cats were his shelter. He loved them so much. Our pet companions love us unconditionally. Freddie’s cats were bold, fierce, independent yet soft, gentle and affectionate, just like him. You can never own a cat, they own you.
On one occasion his little Goliath went missing, everyone spent hours looking for him. Freddie became frantic, and in deep despair he hurled a beautiful Japanese hibachi through the window of the guest bedroom. It was a hibachi he had spent so much time in Japan searching for so diligently.
He was prepared to have posters pinned outside offering £1000 upon the return of his beloved feline. Thankfully, he was finally located outside, under a car!
"Of course, Freddie was over the moon he was found and for five minutes or more he poured his attention on his kitten, cuddling and stroking him. Then, like a mother, Freddie scolded the cat, shouting and screaming at tiny Goliath for leaving Garden Lodge. The dark ball of fur just sat there, listening calmly to Freddie’s outburst and purring loudly."

Musya had spent his entire life as a stray dog. Every day, he would wait at a bus stop, gently raising his paw to greet passersby, hoping for just a little love and attention. He wasn’t begging for food — he was begging for affection.
Despite everything he had been through, Musya never lost faith in people. And one day, the person he had been waiting for finally appeared.
Today, Musya has a loving family in the Netherlands. From a dog longing for kindness at a bus stop, he now falls asleep every night in the comfort of a home he can finally call his own. 🐾❤️
