It is disappointing to see Mr. Peter Obi attempt to lecture President Bola Tinubu on hunger in Nigeria. Dear citizens, let’s remind him how hunger increased in Anambra under him. For 8 years between 2006 and 2014, despite huge federal allocations and improved IGR, Anambra remained largely a consumption state with little investment in agriculture and food production.

As a result, food prices kept rising and dependence on other states grew. Youth unemployment was high, industries were not attracted to the state, and many families struggled to feed themselves while poverty indicators in the South-East worsened during his tenure.

Nigerians often blame the president for everything.

Oyo State recently acquired surveillance aircraft worth over ₦7.7B.

This only means the Federal Government has provided enough resources for each state to handle its security. There was a time when they didn't even have enough money to pay salaries, so citizens should do well to hold their Governors accountable.

Regarding your post, we're approaching another election cycle. It is entirely within the responsibilities of a State Commissioner of Police to engage with different stakeholders including political groups, civil society organizations, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community associations,to discuss election security, public order, and compliance with the law.

The mere attendance of a police officer at an event does not, by itself, prove partisanship. What matters is whether the officer acted in a biased manner or breached the Police Act, the Electoral Act, or the Nigeria Police Force's Code of Conduct. If you have credible evidence of misconduct, present it. If not, avoid turning routine official engagement into political propaganda.
