Yesterday we turned our focus to making a climate summit table based on Judy Chicago’s ‘The Dinner Party’. We’ll be designing dinner party events for makers-thinkers-poets-lovers-doers to encourage design of local action for people and planet soon. Look out for the invites!

In recent weeks we’ve been engaging the community in climate focused theatre, ‘A Citizens’ Assembly’ and Social Fabric workshops making community textiles pieces from waste products and part of Bolton Town of Culture activities.

One of our students actually won the 2024 Pride History logo competition out of thousands of entries and, as such, created a Pride theme Valentine’s card to advocate for a more diverse offering. By complete chance in a local cafe today I met 2 former students (and one parent of another) who I worked with over many years as an artist when they were at primary school, and they have all chosen a degree or career in the arts, I am so proud of them!
Children are artists 🧡
