I got to 1979 words today in my writing session for the novel I just started. More than I expected too tbh. Nanowrimo is off to a good start!

I watched a YouTuber writer Livestream a 'write with me' for accountability and encouragement. I wrote at least over 1000 words of my novel in progress, woo!

Amidst working on my novel today, I realized I'm developing a new character for the story. It's interesting how these things happen sometimes. Time to get out a character sheet I guess.

Why is it hard while writing with dialogue to keep pronoun references clear when both speakers use the same ones? *sigh*

Somehow, I've found that going through videos of youtubers I recently discovered is a good way to occupy myself while sick, during the times I have the energy to watch that is.

I'm finding when I write lately, I can't for super long.

I recently watched a scene from a show where the protagonist was being held hostage by a crime lord, and it was done so well, the tension with the criminal touching her barely and still being super threatening. I want to be able to write subtle but powerful things like that.
