By now you have noticed the coming end of the corruption in public health and childhood vaccination. Many of you have let your feelings of anger at the loss of your power and funding be known, but it is time to let your pride go.

There is a historical phenomenon at the end of corrupt governments where even the leaders involved didn't understand that their tenure was over until the public stormed the palace and draged their bodies out into the street.  Remember Baghdad Bob who stood on the roof during the Iraq war and declared that the country was perfectly sound and would not fall? Even when the sound of American boots could be heard coming up the Boulevard?  His last public appearance as the Iraq Information Minister was on 8 April 2003, when he said that the Americans "are going to surrender or be burned in their tanks. They will surrender; it is they who will surrender".

Don't be like Baghdad Bob.

The war is pretty much over. D-day is over and we are marching through France.  You have carried water for the corrupt pharmaceutical companies as they have devastated child health for decades. You do not have to keep defending them. This is your chance to admit that the parents had a point, and switch sides. If you don't understand that Florida ditching all mandates completely is the biggest chunk of the dam to come out and that it is breaking, stop for a minute and preserve your own position by understanding there is a flood that is coming and you probably should get out of the way.

Those 1000 people inside (and formerly inside) HHS who signed a letter saying that Bobby should resign? The man did not survive 2 assassination attempts on the way to getting that job in order to just quit because you have a temper tantrum. You just look silly.

If you can't in good conscience work for him, then leave. Sit down with the parent of a vaccine injured child, and look them straight in the eye and tell them you don't care about their child. I don't think you can, because I don't think that's true. I think that you've been caught up in something that has become out of control and want to believe that you did the right thing. You didn't and you haven't. You have supported the monsters as they have run amok.
