Jersey implementing an Inshore Fishing and MPA policy that keeps their MPAs open to lower impact fishing gears. We encourage a similar approach in Scotland's inshore, with funding available to support those being displaced and appropriate management for static gears that remain.
A fantastic article in this week’s #FishingNews from @scff_scot national coordinator @ballyphilp on the Rural Affairs and Islands Committee’s recent Clyde cod decision, and the wider questions this raises about current inshore fisheries management 🐟🏴🌊
