Creators have been complaining for a long time, and their concerns have finally reached federal authorities.

YouTube has been terminating creators’ accounts with little to no explanation and seemingly no reliable system for resolving mistakes.

Now, the FTC is reportedly preparing a lawsuit against YouTube over allegations that the platform misled users about its content policies before suspending their accounts.

Meta also recently lost a multibillion-dollar lawsuit. No matter how you feel about Trump, his administration appears serious about holding Big Tech accountable when these companies allegedly mistreat their users.

@TeamYouTube I need help understanding a decision, and I need a REAL person to look at it.

In December my channel lost monetization. I took the review at its word: I removed every video in the old catalog, and spent the next 8 months rewriting the format from the ground up.

My own footage, SCRIPTS WRITTEN BY ME, and complex editing in every video. I explored new types of content that are more informative and dynamic, I interacted with my followers, and I strengthened the community the best I could. It was 8 months of a lot of work and dedication.

My face, my voice, and my soul are on this channel.

I reapplied. The answer came back denied, and this time not for the content at all: "Suspended due to related channel"
The appeal video has no views, nobody has seen it.

Every reply I've received since has been a template pointing me back to the same help pages.

So the ask is small and specific: one human review.

I'm not AI Slop! I'm an honest, human creator.
I treat my audience and my content seriously.
I just wish my appeal were taken seriously as well.
