#CreepyLeaks - The actions of those involved will be archived here, for the world to see and remember. They will not silence those who they have wronged any longer. MrCreepyPasta, Vincent Vena Cava, and WellHeyProductions / OldManMurphy will be held accountable for their actions.
Screencapping this tweet by @VincentVenaCava in the event that he one day finds himself interested in asking for part of the profit from the channels who will now use his work freely for their own monetary gain. You know, like his pals do. #MrCreepyPasta#CreepyLeaks#CreepyPasta
@Anh29016781 Just because you don't like the people coming forward with information; that doesn't make them less credible. Sounds like you've got some biases to work through.
@TheLawliet10 We appreciate the suggestion. For now, we have decided to avoid chaining tweets; as many people who are not fully informed on the #CreepyLeaks situation are likely quickly browsing over the page's posts and not bothering to open up threads for more information. Maybe someday.
@TheLawliet10 We do understand how it could be perceived that way, and we apologize for any misunderstanding. Unfortunately with a small character limit; it can be difficult to properly convey the different levels of criticism on any particular issue.
Hey #OldManMurphy, you don't "apply" to publish to a site that you have 100% control over (aka your own website). Also, submitting your own work to be published =/= a friend including your work in their book of other authors' content which THEY are submitting to be published.
@Abysmii @FNarrates @TheLawliet10 Our criticism regarding this issue has, and will remain, that WHP (as well as the others) misrepresent themselves as being somehow more influential in the horror community than actual hard working creators who do not steal or use other's work for profit. We will try to rephrase.
@Abysmii @FNarrates @TheLawliet10 Apologies, which second tweet are we talking about? Do you mean that the previous tweet we referenced (just now) should be added as an addendum to an amended tweet?
@Abysmii @FNarrates @TheLawliet10 Unfortunately, the previous tweet refers to his previous work being in the horror anthology by MCP; not the current situation with him self publishing on his own website and representing it as being published by an outside source. So it will not work for a repost.
@Abysmii @TheLawliet10 We are more than welcome to suggestion on a more concise and accessible rephrasing of the tweet - as to more directly get the intended point across. (Must be under character limit)
@Abysmii @FNarrates @TheLawliet10 Submitting your own work to be published =/= a friend approaching you to use your work in their book which THEY are submitting to be published.
If you can offer a more accessible way of presenting the issue of the misrepresentation; we will be happy to reword/repost the tweet.
@Abysmii @TheLawliet10 The issue presented in our tweet was not that WHP self publishes.
The issue presented is that WHP self publishes; but misrepresents himself as being published by outside sources. (As if to say he is on another/higher level than self-publishers.)
@FNarrates @Abysmii @TheLawliet10 We apologize if you have read any of our tweets as insulting? As far as we were aware, this was a fairly constructive dialogue. We don't mean to come across as insulting.
@TheLawliet10 "Before I apply to have it published online" and self publishing on one's own website is very clearly misrepresentation to self-aggrandize and is another example of WHP presenting himself as more influential in the online horror author community than he is.
@MidnightWarren @TheLawliet10 "Before I apply to have it published" implies he has submitted to a credible publishing outlet in the past; and is doing so again. Which he hasn't, and isn't. He is posting his story to his own website, which he has full control over, and is aggrandizing himself falsely.
