@nandtpolitics@sexdefenderer@Lorgarwasright You also see the Exodites, who had zero influence in any depravity, and were still cursed. It’s largely a factor of ‘sins of the forefather’ ideals.
@nandtpolitics@sexdefenderer@Lorgarwasright That wasn’t actually the case, as seen in the Aeldari Codexes, the Asuryani and Exodites fled as their Old Empire fell into depravity and anarchy, Though Asuryani partook millennia ago, they repented. Aeldari merely bound to Slaanesh because most of their race partook in it.
@dolfijnmanjohns do you always have to talk like such a contrarian? I’d merely like if you spoke more directly, not dancing around wording and speaking in circles. How would these weapons actually be combat effective against a titan? Just hope they sneak up on one to step on them?
@Pybro_buddy@DubhDonald “As your wretched kind practiced secularism, our ancestors long, long ago bled into that deprived culture. But we abandoned that creed, long before the Fall. If we share the sin of our ancestors from millions of years ago, you share the sins of your heretic predecessors.”
@DTitanosaur@DubhDonald “Your edgy ‘family members’ just split the galaxy in two after destroying Cadia. I won’t even get into what the Night Lords, Emperor’s Children, or Word Bearers do.”
@Raptors_Stripes@_Jyggalag_@JuYeHyeungLIVE Can’t really blame them for that, Old Ones’ created them to fight the Necrons and the C’tan. That was certainly circumstances outside of their control, especially since they never asked to have such psychic power, which influences the Othersea so much
@ZuayZeen satire ≠ comical. You can see a good example in Genestealer cults, the fact melee is so widespread, 1700’s naval doctrine used in the voice of space, etc. I can accept that 40k is a satire on certain topics, but also that it’s still grimdark, they’re not morally exclusive
