Acts of service men are dangerously attractive.
Fixing problems, making sure you’ve eaten, charging your phone, carrying your things… that’s romance to me.
I usually tell people to let go of something in order to receive something better. If you have apples in your hands and asking God for watermelon. Where will God put the watermelon when your hands are holding onto apples? You’ll put the apples down to receive your watermelon.☺️
Luck is such a good thing, y’all.
Luck, if it fixates on you, will make your life better and then some.
Luck is one thing I hope never departs from me. I hope I’m lucky, favoured and always on the receiving end of life’s quiet blessings🥹
This girl said, “I have no problem eating alone, traveling alone, doing everything alone. People act like that’s sad. You know what’s actually sad? Never doing anything because you couldn’t find someone to come with you.” and I couldn’t agree more.
Increase your surface area for luck to hit you. go outside, try new restaurants, museums, events, take new route home, speak to people and ask questions.
The woman I am today, most credit goes to my determination and my dad. I never lacked as a child, he was emotionally, financially, physically and mentally present. My dad is a man of his word.I keep my word, learnt from him! I love him so much!❤️
One thing adulthood has taught me is that I am not above anything. Homelessness, death, no job, literally anything can happen. Hence, I must never be too quick to speak over situations I’ve never found myself in. No one is above anything, not even your good actions can save you from your fair share of trials.
Life is crazy. Tables turn. Always stay humble & be grateful. ✌
