Will say it again and again: Genz DMK supporters hating on GenZ DMK is the worst

#GenZDMK #DMK Lifelong DMK voter, fairly new to political twitter. Yday when Vinoth was arrested, a lot of us opined here angrily why the party isn't doing anything. Later we found out they actually gave full support to him and his family legally and Kanimozhi mam personally visited him. Lesson to self - don't be quick to anger or unfairly blame a party that has by all means faced extreme betrayal from it's alliance partners and by people of this state.

Now I am seeing a lot of DMK handles question the GenZ DMK coordinators on why they didn't voice out for this arrest. I think a few of them did. Some are blaming them of just using DMK for their own fame. What is this increasing level of hatred towards them?

2 of them got arrested. 1 got physically assaulted and hospitalised. AFAIK. Still they are showing up at every GenZ meet and organizing meetups all over TN. After May 4th defeat, the first event that took a lot of us out of absolute despair was the 1st GenZ meet at Arivalayam. We all dared to hope a little on seeing the visuals of that meeting.

Was there anything wrong or abusive in those meetings till now? Did they promote their own business in those meetings? No.

Will they get some party position in the future? Maybe yes.

But are we (the ones hating on them) taking the conversation to GenZ kids in real life any way better? No.

Does the GenZ generation see these videos and reels from these meetings and actually learn about DMK? Yes.

On one side we have TVK youth abusing everyone, spreading fake news 24/7, blindly worshipping anything their actor does. On our side, we have these youngsters talking about Dravidam, abt Periyar, Anna, Kalaignar, Stalin sir's schemes and governance. So why are some being so hateful towards GenZ DMK? Maybe they could have voiced out given their social media reach. But that's not enough reason that they are being smeared of "using" DMK for their own nefarious purposes nor do they deserve hate from our own side.

2 things - either they are a political strategy of DMK leadership to take DMK to GenZ, or its an organic growth of DMK among GenZ. Anyway they are the ones standing on the ground. If they falter let's guide them properly.

It's not easy being a DMK supporter in Tamilnadu, the level of abuse and snide remarks we get from our own circle of family and frnds, the shrugoffs and indifference we face in our workplace for supporting DMK are the reasons why many of us here are anon accounts. But these youngsters show their faces and accept all these risks.

Ppl of TN themselves thaali aruthified DMK in this election, maybe the OG thaali arupu team of DMK (incl myself at times) should pause for a while till the party has recovered enough to take it's beating.
