๐ณ We were so lucky to have Mia from the Scottish Association for Marine Science to speak to us last week about the dangers of ocean pollution and the incredible wildlife we have on our doorstep ๐ฌ๐
Some practical maths lessons this week ๐งฎ weโve been planning and budgeting a trip to Brazil ๐ง๐ท and exploring multiplication and division through concrete resources!
We were so lucky to have a morning learning Samba music, linking to our topic of Brazil. The students had the opportunity to play a range of instruments and build up to a longer piece ๐ง๐ท๐ฅ๐ช
๐ฅ This morning we were treated to a pipe drumming demonstration from instructor Sandy Bayne. Another great opportunity for P4-7 pupils to learn an instrument from August. @stirlingmusiced
Lots of fantastic Jubilee fun today at CPS! Weโve been very busy learning about the Queen, writing and posting letters to HRH, eating delicious scones, watching the fly past in London and enjoying jubilee themed arts and crafts ๐

Another fantastic session at the community garden this afternoon. Pupils planted broccoli, potatoes, leeks, rhubarb, blueberry bushes and begonias. They also got to replant their lupins. Thanks to Dawn and Alan for hosting us again. ๐ฅฆ๐บ
