Perfectly reasonable call to give this four and not six with no third umpire by the way.

I’ve watched it many times since and can’t see from the tv images.

Conclusion- India were very lucky to beat Japan, which is fine, because it’s sport.

This guy knows what he's on about. I've not seen anything definitive in the laws, which are often ambiguous, which would lead anyone to the conclusion that wide was definitely the wrong/right call yesterday.

The umpire overturned his decision after intervention from India though

The umpires chalked off a wide when Japan were batting because India complained about it.

Japan dropped 2 catches.
