Saim might not been good in t20is but in odi's he's our future!
Gave him full free hand in odi's, and he could be our first choice opener along with Fakhar.
This tri-series should be good for him to prepare himself for the CWC 2027

If we see our current young lot, Maaz Sadaqat, Saim ayub, Hassan Nawaz, Arafat, Sufiyan & Hunain Sha!!
They all have the potential & can also won us so many matches in future if pcb should groom them well.
Also PCB should prepare them for 2027 & 2028 WCs respectively.

Maaz Sadaqat said, "I'm targeting the ODI World Cup and preparing for it. I have a 15–20-day window coming up, which I am going to dedicate to working on myself for the World Cup."

We just don't need to give unnecessary hate to Saim ayub, it's just only management & selectors fault to keep playing him.
He's truly good in odi's the #triseries is the massive opportunity to prove himself.
All the best @SaimAyub7!

@MianAhmad_56 I said it before he plays like babar & Rizwan no matter how many sixes he hits, but he plays so many dot balls

Maaz Sadaqat is way more dangerous and talented than Sahibzad Farhan & Saim ayub!!

Not many people outside Pakistan were talking about Maaz Sadaqat a month ago and I think that is about to change whether they like it or not.
Look at the last 30 days; 3 innings in T20 cricket that most players don't produce in entire career!

16 September 2026, CPL. He reached his hundred in 44 balls and when he got there his opening partner was batting on 15 and team total was 121.
4 days later on 20 September in CPL final. Another hundred, 114 off 58 balls. His whole team finished on 170 for 9. Take his runs away and other 10 batters made 44 between them and only one of them reached double figures.
then yesterday against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi he made 96 off 51 with 6 fours and 7 sixes. 4 short of a third T20 hundred in 30 days.

what gets me is where he started. Peshawar lanes, tape ball and a tea dhaba where he worked long shifts so he could afford a bat and spikes. His mother gave up small comforts at home so he could travel to district trials. maybe that is why a pressure game does not seem to scare him. On his PSL debut he walked in at 38 for 3 and outscored Babar Azam by smashing 55 runs in 33 balls.

You don't need to see his pick up shots to know he is special. Watch him pull a short ball off a bouncy Carebbean track then sweep spin in Mirpur like he grew up there.
And we haven't even started on his left arm spin yet. He took 3 for 23 in his second ODI, after smashing 75 off 46 the same day. A batter with 156 strike rate and 6.65 economy in T20 cricket these days is a luxury.
Remember his name because you are going to hear it a lot.

Praise is coming world wide, Hard work always pays 🙌.

We were happy to see the talent of Maaz Sadaqat in the CPL 2026 for the Jamaica Kingsmen. His good form continues for Pakistan and we hope he has a long and successful career. He is a nice 360 batter.
