Andy Burnham did not say he would cut your pension. He said the triple lock stays until 2030, then the pension will still rise every year by inflation or 2.5% — and the savings go into free social care so pensioners stop having care bills taken from the state pension they already live on.
That’s the policy. Farage just turned it into “he’ll cut your pension” because the actual numbers on aid, HS2 and welfare are harder to sell than a scare.
Reform’s plan is still just “cut the foreigners and the waste.” No costed alternative for care, the NHS or housing. Same script, different election.

@L3VJN Pensioners aren’t being robbed by a removal of the triple lock. Pensions will still rise. But the social care sector, most of which are pensioners, will be massively improved. That is needed urgently.
