It’s such an honor to be invited as a Commissioner to this Women’s Justice Commission. Finally some heavy hitting attention and ACTION to the over-incarceration of women. #GenderMatters

What a wonderful opportunity to come to my hometown of Tulsa as a commissioner for @CouncilonCJ to highlight the work of @FCSTulsa and Women in Recovery!

I’m a big fan of VGK having relocated to SLC from Vegas, but the Las Vegas Aces WNBA team was the first major sports championship in Vegas in 2022. The Golden Knights won the Stanley Cup in 2023. Let’s not forget Women’s sports please! @bellefraser1#everyonewatcheswomenssports
Incredible! I’ve trained a lot of POs in my time, but I distinctly remember training Angel on the WRNA a few years ago because she was so stellar! @gcu @maricopacounty https://t.co/RR5WmgP0pp

Watching my husband go through a PhD program reminds me how much we brutalize students in the name of “learning”. The pain and suffering is so unnecessary and heartbreaking to all, including the partners and family members in supportive roles. All it does is breed resentment.
CCJ's Women's Justice Commission kicked into gear with an inaugural meeting in NYC this week! Former U.S. Atty. Gen. Loretta Lynch chairs the group, which includes Harris County @SheriffEd_HCSO and 14 other ideologically diverse members, led by Director Stephanie Akhter.
