Portuguese way of life: salários de merda para servir ultra-ricos (à mesa, na cozinha, nas limpezas, agricultura, obras) p manter a Portuguese way of life p eles e não p nós.
mas aqui pelas redes discute-se "mérito" e "retorno" tretas de quem vive de migalhas que apanha do chão
@ShoahUkraine Careful with that line of thinking, brother. Hate begets hate and to take revenge on ordinary citizens who do not participate in a war or in any atrocities is to become the same evil that we fight against.
Westerners have been so well-trained to hate North Korea that we can literally be shown completely normal footage of everyday life, slap some eerie music over it, and everyone will go crazy.
Important and profound reflections on China from Domenico Losurdo, republished in the latest edition of International Critical Thought.
“Obviously, it’s completely legitimate to express doubts and criticisms about ‘market socialism.’ But on one point I think the Left should be able to reach a consensus. The reform and opening-up policy Deng Xiaoping introduced has not at all meant the merging of China with the capitalist West, as if the whole world was from then on characterized by a still calm. In reality, starting in 1979, a struggle developed that may have escaped the vision of the more superficial observers but whose importance is being demonstrated with greater and greater evidence.
“The US and its allies hoped to impose an international division of labor in which China’s part was limited to producing low-priced goods with little technological content. In other words, they hoped to conserve and increase the Western monopoly of technology. Under this plan, China, like the entire Third World, would have had to continue to play a dependent role with respect to the capitalist centers.
“It is now well understood that the Chinese Communists have interpreted and carried out a continuation of the struggle for national liberation in order to cause this neo-colonial project to fail: there is no political independence without economic independence. At least those who declare themselves Marxist should understand this truth clearly! Thanks to the desired maintenance of technological monopoly, the US and its allies intended to continue to dictate the terms regarding international relations. With its extraordinary economic and technological development, China has opened the road to democratizing international relations. This result should please not only communists but also all authentic democrats: there are now better conditions for the political and economic emancipation of the Third World.”

No you have self-owned and now I will publicly humiliate you. Contrary to idiotic western public opinion and intellectually bankrupt academics everyone wrongly assumes China's industrialzation began in the Deng era. This is absurd, Mao and Deng and the rest of the CPC worked tirelessly from 1949 to build China's productive capacity.
Mao laid the framework for China's eventually world domination of productive capacity to the tune of the PRC achieving 50% of everything made on planet earth being made in Marxist civilization.
Mao's commune era was the basis from which the reforms sprouted into this industrial juggernaut and only effete urban dumbass rentier right and leftoids in the Imperial core have lost grasp of objective history and human achievement.
@notXiangyu@lysenko_weed2 No one is "virtue signalling", but I agree. We should not judge how the cuban people choose to navigate through their hardships.
@lysenko_weed2@notXiangyu That is true to a certain degree, however, I think many people are genuinely concerned that these reforms don't come with a trade-off from the US such as easing the embargo on the island. Having more private sector won't magically make resources and goods appear on your island.
The reaction to immediately slap a "Putin's puppet" label on Polish President Nawrocki and brand it as some type of victory for the Kremlin, from the globalist warmongers, a number of Poles, and especially Ukrainians themselves for his insistence to remember and revere Polish history and take a firm stance in defense of Polish nation was as predictable as the Sun rising in the East.
Of course it was Putin who forced Ukraine to make national heroes out of brutal and bloodthirsty ghouls who exterminated hundreds of thousands of Polish, Jewish, and even Ukrainian elderly, women and newborns in the most cruel way. It was also Putin who forced Ukraine to build monuments and name streets after them, exhume their remains, re-bury them with state honors.
But in the end of the day Poland as a State remains one of the biggest supporters of Zelensky's criminal regime, a country that quite literally disarmed itself for Ukraine, totaled 4.94% of its GDP in overall aid to Ukraine, sacrificed thousands of its people who actually fought and died defending Ukraine, hosts the 2nd largest population of Ukrainian refugees in the EU after Germany with all social benefits, and remains the biggest logistical hub of weapon shipments to Ukraine. And somehow I doubt that it will change in any way because the Polish president brought worldwide attention to whom Ukrainians quite literally worship.
But the above-mentioned globalist warmongers, a number of Poles and especially Ukrainians themselves don't care about any of that because somehow they have come to the conclusion that the everyone owes them something for allegedly defending NATO, the most powerful military alliance on Earth, from le evil gas station with nukes with the GDP the size of Texas.
I hope state socialists learn from this. No state can be trusted to look out for the proletariat’s best interests. Anarchism is your best shot at preventing this from happening again.
