901) Rockies vs Nationals (10am)
Pick: Under 9.5 +100
Risk: $2,000 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: The pitching ERAs make this matchup look like an automatic Over, but there are several reasons the Under 9.5 has value. Colorado starts Gabriel Hughes, whose 6.54 ERA is ugly on the surface, but his underlying numbers are dramatically better. Hughes owns a 3.47 xERA and 3.86 FIP, while ranking in the 94th percentile in hard-hit rate and 91st percentile in average exit velocity. That suggests significant positive regression and gives him a better chance of limiting Washington than his traditional numbers indicate.
Washington's offense is also considerably weaker than it was earlier in the season. Since Luis Garcia was traded and James Wood went down, the Nationals rank just 24th in wRC+, while CJ Abrams has posted only a 77 wRC+ with a 32% strikeout rate since the deadline. Washington has now lost six of its last seven games and scored only one run in each of the previous two games of this series.
Jake Irvin is clearly the biggest concern for the Under, but Colorado is the type of opponent that gives him an opportunity to stabilize. Over the Rockies' previous 31 games, they rank 27th in MLB with an 82 wRC+. Wednesday's 13-run explosion stands out, but it came against a struggling Washington pitching combination that included a major-league debut and ultimately a position player pitching the final 1⅓ innings. It shouldn't automatically be treated as Colorado's new offensive baseline.
The blowout also quietly helps today's bullpen situation. Tanner Gordon gave Colorado seven innings Wednesday, while Washington was able to use a position player for the final 1⅓ innings once the game was decided. That kept both clubs from having to heavily tax their relief corps ahead of today's finale.
The weather is warm in Washington, but there isn't a significant wind boost, with winds expected around 7–10 mph. Ultimately, this Under is more about two inconsistent offenses than trusting either starter's ERA. I have this game handicapped at 9 runs giving us value on the Under.
🍀Best of luck!

901) Cardinals vs Phillies (10:35am)
Pick: Under 8 (-110)
Risk: $2,200 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: Cristopher Sanchez is the biggest reason to like the Under. The Phillies lefty enters at 16-4 with a 2.51 ERA, 2.61 FIP and an excellent 22.1% K-BB rate. His 57.6% ground-ball rate is especially valuable at hitter-friendly Citizens Bank Park because it limits damaging fly balls and home runs. Sanchez has dominated this Cardinals lineup. Current St. Louis hitters have managed only a .179 batting average, .256 slugging percentage and .225 wOBA against him across 42 plate appearances. In four career starts against St. Louis, he owns a 1.85 ERA and 1.07 WHIP.
A low-scoring output from St. Louis is very much in play. The Cardinals rank in the bottom half of MLB in runs per game, slugging percentage, and OPS, and now have to deal with one of the National League’s better starters in Cristopher Sanchez. If Sanchez can hold St. Louis to just 1-2 runs, Philadelphia would likely need to do most of the scoring for this game to get over the total. Kyle Leahy has also delivered solid results this season, entering at 10-4 with a 3.24 ERA and 3.53 FIP. While some of his underlying metrics point to possible regression, his overall run prevention has been good enough to give St. Louis a legitimate chance to keep Philadelphia from turning this into another high-scoring game.
The bullpens should be in decent shape after Saturday's blowout. Philadelphia got seven innings from Andrew Painter in its 12-3 win, dramatically reducing the workload on its bullpen. St. Louis also avoided burning all of its primary leverage arms after the game got out of hand. Saturday produced 15 runs, but much of that came from Quinn Mathews getting tagged for seven earned runs. Sunday's matchup is completely different with Sanchez on the mound and Leahy carrying substantially better season-long run-prevention numbers.
Under 8 is particularly attractive because the broader market is already lower. BetMGM was showing a 7.5-run total Sunday morning. Getting Under 8 at -110 gives you the key-number push protection at exactly eight runs while holding a half-run better number than that market.

⚾️#MLB: Braves vs White Sox
🗓️Today at 11:10AM PST
25* Under 8.5 +105
Both pitchers are in excellent form. Grant Holmes had consecutive scoreless innings in six-inning outings earlier this month. Anthony Kay has allowed no more than three runs in any of his last ten starts. He’s 2-0 with a 2.55 ERA this month. Both pitchers have ERA’s in the solid mid-3s to low-4s range and have demonstrated their ability to pitch deep into games.
The Braves offense has been struggling lately, scoring only 7 runs in their last 3 games. On the other hand, the White Sox have been scoring consistently, amassing 11 runs in their recent series against the Cubs. Since neither lineup is currently performing well, this could be a favorable situation for us.
Good luck everyone!🍀

902) Padres vs Mets (10:10am)
Pick: Under 8.5 (-110)
Risk: $2,200 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: Citi Field’s pitcher-friendly environment, Michael King’s reliability, middling offenses (especially a depleted Mets lineup), and the series low-scoring pattern support the Under 8.5.
Michael King is the clear pitching advantage for San Diego, entering at 8-8 with a 3.41 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 124 strikeouts across 142.1 innings. He has consistently given the Padres competitive outings and recently delivered six innings of one-run ball against Houston. Even when he allows some traffic, King has generally been able to provide solid length, limit damaging contact and keep games under control into the middle innings. That gives him a good chance to hold the Mets in check for five to six-plus innings.
New York has shown more life offensively of late, but its overall production remains fairly modest. The Mets are averaging roughly 4.17 runs per game, while San Diego is at 4.25, leaving both clubs in the bottom half of MLB in scoring. That offensive profile has already shown up in this series, with the opener finishing 2-1 and Tuesday’s matchup ending 5-2. Through the first two games, these teams have combined for just three and seven runs, both comfortably below an 8.5 total.
Robert Stock is obviously the concern on the Mets side with his 6.57 ERA, but his overall number is inflated by one disastrous eight-run outing against Pittsburgh. He responded in his most recent appearance by going 4⅓ innings while allowing zero earned runs and only three hits. Even if he has a bad game, New York can lean on a bullpen that has pitched significantly better lately, carrying a 2.79 ERA since August 3 entering this series.
Citi Field plays as a below-average run environment in 2026 (run factor roughly 0.92–0.96, or about –8% to –9% vs. league average; HR factor often near 0.86–0.90). Today’s projected conditions reinforce this (around 8% for runs). Light wind (6 mph WNW) and temperatures in the mid-80s to low 90s are not strongly hitter-friendly enough to override the park’s dimensions and typical suppression of extra-base hits and overall scoring.
Both lineups have been mediocre this season. The Mets are averaging roughly 4.17 runs per game while the Padres sit at 4.25, placing both clubs in the bottom half of MLB in scoring. That limited offensive production has already been evident in this series, with the opener finishing 2-1 and Tuesday’s contest ending 5-2. Across the first two games, the teams have combined for just three and seven runs, respectively both games went well under the 8.5 total.
King should limit the Mets early in a run-suppressing park against a thinned-out offense. Stock may not dominate, but the combination of venue, overall offensive mediocrity, and recent low totals makes a combined score of 8 or fewer the more likely outcome.
🍀Best of luck!

921) White Sox vs Cubs (5:05pm)
Pick: Under 8 (-105)
Risk: $2,100 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: I love the Under 8 in tonight’s Crosstown Classic because this matchup has a much better pitching setup than the season-long numbers initially suggest.
The biggest reason is Shota Imanaga. He enters with a 3.74 ERA and an excellent 1.10 WHIP over 137.1 innings, but his recent form has been even more impressive. Over his last seven starts, Imanaga owns a 2.31 ERA with 38 strikeouts against only six walks in 39 innings. His command is important in a total this tight because he rarely gives opponents free baserunners. Statcast also has Imanaga allowing just a .302 xwOBA with a 35.5% hard-hit rate this season. If he has a quality start and keep the White Sox around two or three runs, we are in a very favorable position for the Under.
Luis Castillo will also be a huge key to this Under, and I believe his season ERA is making this total look more dangerous than his current form actually is. Castillo is coming off arguably his best start of the year, throwing seven scoreless innings while allowing only one hit and striking out 10 against Cincinnati. He generated a 49% whiff rate and 36% called-strike-plus-whiff rate in that outing, with his changeup and slider giving Cincinnati very little quality contact. That is a great sign after Chicago acquired him at the deadline. If Castillo carries even most of that form into tonight, the Cubs should have a much tougher time putting together crooked innings.
The Cubs are certainly capable offensively, but they haven't exactly entered this series at their best. They have recently lost three of four while being outscored 26-11, Pete Crow-Armstrong hit just .107 over the previous week, and Michael Busch has been going through a slump. Chicago's offense is dangerous when it strings together walks and extra-base hits, but Castillo's ability to generate swings and misses gives him a path to preventing those extended rallies.
The Wrigley Field conditions are also in our favor tonight! The current forecast is around 72 degrees with only a 3.4 mph WSW wind and no rain expected. At a ballpark where wind can dramatically change the run environment, a breeze that light removes one of the biggest concerns when betting an Under at Wrigley. We aren't dealing with the strong 15-20 mph wind blowing out that can turn routine fly balls into home runs.
There is plenty of power on both sides, but this Under doesn’t require either starter to be flawless. A 3-2, 4-2, or 4-3 final is enough to cash, while exactly eight runs gives us push protection. With Imanaga carrying a 2.31 ERA over his last seven starts, Castillo coming off seven scoreless innings, and Wrigley offering no meaningful wind boost to the offenses, I expect runs to be harder to come by than this total suggests.
🍀Best of luck!

963) Orioles vs Rays (9:15am)
Pick: Under 8 (-120)
Risk: $2,400 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: I like the Under 8 in today’s Orioles-Rays matchup because this game has a good chance to be dictated by starting pitching and another round of inefficient offense. Baltimore sends Trevor Rogers to the mound with a 7-8 record, 4.21 ERA and 102 strikeouts, while Tampa Bay counters with Freddy Peralta, who has 121 strikeouts in 2026.
Rogers’ season numbers are relatively ordinary, but his recent performances give me confidence that he can keep Tampa Bay from putting together a big inning. In his last start against Minnesota, Rogers allowed only two runs on four hits over four innings, and on August 5 he struck out nine while allowing just three hits over six innings. That swing-and-miss ability is especially valuable against a Rays lineup that has shown it can get runners on base without necessarily converting those opportunities into runs.
We saw exactly that from Tampa Bay last night. The Rays finished just 3-for-13 with runners in scoring position and stranded 12 runners in a 4-3 extra-inning loss to Baltimore. Even with an additional inning, the two teams combined for only seven runs. Baltimore’s damage was also heavily dependent on isolated power, with Pete Alonso and Christian Encarnacion-Strand both hitting solo home runs. If those big swings turn into warning-track outs or strikeouts today, scoring opportunities could disappear quickly.
Peralta is obviously the biggest concern for this Under because his 5.33 ERA and 1.50 WHIP are much higher than what we are accustomed to seeing from him. However, his strikeout stuff remains intact. He has 121 strikeouts this season and recently settled down after a difficult opening inning against Oakland to deliver a quality start for Tampa Bay. Against a Baltimore lineup that can be reliant on home runs for its scoring, Peralta’s strikeout ability to gives us a path to limiting crooked innings even if he allows a few baserunners.
The key with the Under 8 is that neither starter has to be perfect. If Rogers can hold Tampa Bay around two or three runs and Peralta can keep Baltimore in that same range, we enter the later innings with plenty of room underneath the number. After these teams played a 4-3 game that required 10 innings Saturday night, I expect another relatively tight divisional matchup where scoring opportunities will be scarce. Take the Under!
🍀Best of luck!

918) Orioles vs Rays (3:10pm)
Pick: Under 7.5 (-105)
Risk: $2,100 to win $2,000
📚Analysis: I like the Under 7.5 in this matchup because both starting pitchers are positioned to control the game, and Baltimore draws a particularly difficult matchup against Rays left-hander Ian Seymour.
Seymour has quietly settled into Tampa Bay’s rotation and enters this game in excellent form. He has allowed only three earned runs across 12 innings in August while striking out 16, including six innings of one-run baseball with seven strikeouts against Seattle in his last start. Since moving into the rotation, Seymour has also produced a 3.46 ERA and 3.09 FIP, showing that his recent success has been supported by the underlying numbers rather than simply good fortune.
The matchup makes Seymour even more appealing. Baltimore has struggled against left-handed pitching throughout the season, ranking near the bottom of baseball in both OPS and batting average against left-handed starters. Their season batting average against lefties sits around .235, which creates a significant advantage for Seymour. His combination of strikeouts and a 1.13 WHIP should make it difficult for Baltimore to string together the multiple baserunners usually necessary to push a game over a relatively low total.
On the other side, Kyle Bradish gives Baltimore a chance to suppress Tampa Bay's offense. Bradish carries a 3.69 ERA with 121 strikeouts over 127 innings, and his most recent start was better than the box score result suggests: he worked six innings against Texas without allowing an earned run, giving up five hits with zero walks. When Bradish is locating his sinker and slider, he can generate weak contact and keep the ball in the park which is exactly what is needed against a dangerous Rays lineup.
This looks like a matchup where six solid innings from both starters can put the Under in an excellent position entering the late innings. Seymour's matchup against Baltimore's lefty struggles is the strongest piece of the handicap, while Bradish's recent command and run prevention give Baltimore the pitching necessary to keep Tampa Bay from exploding offensively.
🍀Best of luck!
