@DuglarGamer It's just proof that we had a cupcake schedule to start the football season and we hired a baseball coach who spent the last 6 years training on how to mismanage a pitching staff under the man who mastered the art.
@karnetas@RpsAgainstTrump Trump is a piece of shit, but it's funny that you assume distaste of one piece of shit automatically communicates worship of another piece of shit. (It's because you're an ideological, binary thinker, which is common of midwits.)
@ChuckRossDC It's not just that Democrats elected a former Al-Qaeda volunteer who testified on behalf of the mastermind of the World Trade Center bombing to Congress. Its that the entire Democrat establishment was silent about him, did not condemn him & did nothing to prevent him from winning
The state of the Democratic party is such that it is electing a former Al-Qaeda volunteer who testified on behalf of the mastermind of the World Trade Center bombing. There is no GOP equivalent to this, not even close
The martyrs of the mainstream Democratic Party: violent, radicalized domestic terrorists killed while assaulting law enforcement officers who were attempting to arrest foreign invaders who raped little American girls.
You are soulless, demonic ghouls, and you're lunacy is incompatible with democracy.
The data: "At UC San Diego, the number of freshmen failing to meet high-school math standards grew nearly 30-fold between 2020 and 2025. By fall 2025, 1 of 12 entering students was placed into remedial math to learn material taught in elementary and middle school.β
No, the main motivation was to eliminate evidence that could be used in lawsuits against UC when it engaged in anti-Asian and anti-white admissions discrimination.
Since high school GPA is becoming increasingly uninformative as an indicator of intelligence, removing the most reliable indicator (standardized tests) was essential. Because the more colleges rely on measures that strongly correlate to general intelligence, the smaller the representation of blacks and Hispanics in their student bodies β that is, the farther the modern elite university gets from its main mission (to increase "diversity").
I have heard your strategy. Countless times. It's some form of, "Give us more money and we'll be more successful."
That's a lie. I know that's a lie because in the same breath you say, "We have the right coach," which is comically absurd.
That coach just gave a masterclass in how to mismanage a pitching staff. The only person who could have choked in a more absurd way was his mentor.
Either you don't really believe that and you're lying because you're naive and think that more money can overcome an idiot at the helm. Or because you yourself are an idiot.
Thank you for reinforcing my decision to keep my dollars far, far away from GT athletics. What a clown show.
@AssalRad Yes, back then, they called themselves PLO, and they were regularly attacking Israeli civilians before Israel invaded to stop them. All you do is lie. You don't get to come up with a new name and pretend to be innocent. You're blood thirsty savages.
Britain had a moment of silence for George Floyd. Our politicians kneeled en masse to show their outrage at his killing. "I can't breathe" became a slogan.
George Floyd died on the other side of the world. He wasn't British.
Henry Nowak *was* British and his treatment by the police was shocking and negligent in the extreme. Yet there is no minute of silence. There is no coordinated public campaign. There is no kneeling at sporting events.
And we all know why.
During the summer of BLM, some people said "All Lives Matter". This was treated as the highest form of racism and anyone who said this was immediately cancelled. Why? Because the people in charge don't actually think all lives matter in the same way.
They have created a racial hierarchy of victimhood where a career criminal who died through mistreatment by police in a foreign country with 0 evidence of racism like George Floyd is automatically sanctified because of the colour of his skin.
And Henry Nowak, a British man, one of ours, is automatically dismissed and ignored because of the colour of his.
This is the ugly fruit of so-called "anti-racism", an obsession with race that has created a two-tier society which treats people differently because of the colour of their skin.
This needs to stop.
It's not cynicism. It's pragmatism. I have religiously tithed to the GTAA for 24 years. Every year there is a new drive, new spokespeople, new slogans, all with the same empty promises. I have given you a chance. Dozens. Just because you're the newest face selling the latest rebrand of the same bullshit doesn't make the con any different.
Unless you have the power to completely change the paradigm on how we hire and evaluate coaches, you are nothing more than a snake oil salesman.
We didn't lose that regional because we lacked resources, or scholarships, or fancy whizbang pitching and catching analytics. We lost because we made an asinine coaching hire.
Name any other industry where someone would allow a man who underperformed at his job for 15 years hand-select and mentor his replacement? So are we supposed to be shocked when his protege manages the pitching staff in the same idiotic way that his mentor did for decades?
My hard earned money is going to to go toward paying the exorbitant salaries of perennially underachieving coaching staffs. My time is not going to be wasted on an organization that breaks their commitments, year in and year out, failing to deliver the products they promise.
In ANY other industry, that is simply common sense. It's only in athletics do people like you use people's passion for an institution as a means to con them into giving endless sums of money or else be labeled a cynic or "not a real time." Fuck that.
It's time for GT athletics to put up or shut up. Not another dime or eyeball on a screen until GT athletics shows a return on my 24 year investment.
@CliffsCovers This is on top of the previous day when he didn't put in his rested long reliever when his starter started to get shelled up 6 runs the previous game. Ramsey is Danny Hall, Jr.
@KylePWren It's funny because you can copy and paste this post about any GT baseball team of the last 20 years and it would still be spot-on accurate. But yeah trajectory and future and whatever.
