@jacynon We've gotten to the point people dont realize critical roll is popular in part because its all successful voice actors. (Obvs not the only reason but it helped get them a foot in the door of actual plays)
@Boi_die@ANerdNamedJerry The thing with the comedy in part 3 is the co.edy almost never comes from the absurdism. At most maybe the reactions to it (like Joseph's "oh my god")
.... does Zhao count as being fridged? Cause this is all to help with zuko's own character arc.
After rall zuko at this time was obsessed with finding the avatar in a semi similar way.
Zhao: The Fool.
What exactly was this idiot trying to accomplish by slaying the moon spirit?
Everyone, the fire nation included, needed the moon spirit.
The "Canon tm" turning Lucas's mistake of using the term parsec into a "well technically cause *massive explanation with balck holes and for some reason a black hole worm thing*" when the more obvious and more in character reason of "he was lying to try and make some money"
My biggest issue with star wars is that the fandom and franchise tries too hard to make han solo cool.
The man is a loser who lies and slips his way through issues until he met Luke and Obiwan.
@AlekseiTheBun I feel thats less victim and more "poetic justice" though justice seems the wrong word. But thats the closest literay concept I can think of for it.
@AlekseiTheBun The thing is that makes him the villain is that it is imherintly a cruel wish even if he doesnt think itd work. Like he may not be evil but hes not the victim.
Kind of like wishing a car in traffic annoying you would crash.
The thing is its the casuals who dont care for the hutts.
The hutts have been a vital part of star since literally the first movie. Though they weren't slug people then.
Though this also doesnt disprove your point cause casuals are the ones that make sure star wars makes money
