I go out to enjoy Stonebwoy at Bhim Concert, Blacko at Zaama Disco, King Promise at Promise Land, and Sarkodie at Rapperholic — purely because of their craft: music.

These artists don’t have a constitution for fans. It’s entertainment. If I risk my health to enjoy a show, that’s my choice — I’ve prioritized their art over myself. The benefit goes to them; the cost is on me. That’s the fan–star relationship.

But Christianity isn’t fandom. Your Father in heaven has a constitution and a guide — the Bible. You can’t live like a fan idolizing another human while claiming to follow God.

The bedrock of the faith is Scripture. There are rules, principles, and order before the blessings promised can manifest. So what’s the point of ignoring the law given to you and then using personal logic to force outcomes?

You cry to God but don’t understand His rules.

A true believer who understands God should be confident enough to rebuke, teach, and reason with Scripture. But here in Ghana, many would rather call you a sinner the moment you ask questions — even though they can’t defend their own actions with their constitution and guide. 😂
