@labourunionsuk However, it is evident that such an outcome is unlikely. Current polls indicate that Labour is leading the race. Your primary concern appears to be Reform, yet you remain silent about them due to their lack of TV coverage & your reluctance to engage in a debate with Nigel Farage.
Ofcom are engaging in election interference.
Their new rules will only give Reform UK 8% of the coverage.
They are trying to protect the cozy club and stop new challengers like us.
A vote for you means an increase in immigration in #Birkenhead#Tranmere#Prenton#Oxton#Bebington#RockFerry#NewFerry. We do not want any associations with groups like Hamas in our community.
I think you are likely a good person, but I cannot support you or your party.
60 seconds interview with Jo: What's your background?
I grew up in Birkenhead and went to Prenton Primary school in the 70s. My first job was as a waitress in Hamilton Square. I went to university in Manchester and was elected to the student union. I worked in the head office of the Co-operative Group.
Later, I set up a co-op to take people on study tours to Israel and Palestine. From 2007, my job was helping people set up co-op businesses, across North West England and in Ireland.
Q. Why did you get involved in politics?
My dad was a trade union officer and my mum's grandparents were Jewish refugees from Eastern Europe. I grew up with collective action and solidarity, such as striking miners staying in our home.
Like thousands of people, I joined the Labour Party in 2015, when it stood for the many, not the few. I was first elected as a local councillor in 2018. Three years later, the Labour Party expelled me for talking about the racism I deal with as a Jewish person.
Muslim Scholar :"In the west we won't kill them in the beginning but in 50years, we will kill you if you don't obey us."
They don't even hide that anymore.
But somehow we have Islamophobia.
