It’s 2021. We’re all able to go outside. The theatres and pubs are open again. There’s plenty of toilet roll. No one has to queue at the supermarket. Zoom chats are a distant memory. #OneManTwoGuvnors#NationalTheatreAtHome
Honestly, we’re totally blown away by all your love for #OneManTwoGuvnors tonight. This is all we could ever wish for.
If you’re able, and would like to, please consider donating to the National Theatre at https://t.co/9McAfGt2hy or via YouTube.
Just a reminder that the hugely strained health service of Lombardy scores 9.9/10 in OECD points and is in the top 5% in Health compared across all OECD regions. The current passivity of other EU countries is really hard to understand. via @OECDgov https://t.co/bEuXpBYZHe
@BBCRadMac Loving today's groove - thank you for providing the perfect music to pack to! It's making moving seem less painful while I'm shimmying around #modernMaryPoppins
BBC Radio wanted to have me on today to debate a climate-denier in the context of the drought/heatwave.
I said NO.
I told them it was a disgrace that they still give climate-deniers airtime at a time like this.
I won’t be part of such charades any longer.
Please RT if you agree.
@doc_becca I like this - thanks for putting into words. I think it's also a (healthy) way of releasing that background tension that comes with putting a lot of effort into something, and then waiting waiting waiting - which can be a subtle, background source of stress in itself!
"Unlike computers…human beings aren’t meant to operate continuously, at high speeds, for long periods of time. Rather, we’re designed to move rhythmically between spending and renewing our energy."
—Tony Schwartz
My first focus: MINIMUM VIABLE DILEMMAS, which I imagine as the simplest playable models of an issue/cause you're passionate about... eg, you could explore social housing and make an MVD that zooms in on the tensions between residents, property developers and local authorities.
Are you sure you don't want to talk about the brain, and the mouth, and Elton John?
"And hopefully the brain attached to the mouth. Right? The brain, more important than the mouth, is the brain. The brain is much more important.”

@icklenellierose thank you for so eloquently explaining this point. I was also raised in a household where there wasn't the disposable income to afford the big games back _then_. It certainly doesn't change my ability to enjoy games _now_
Important: This morning the Health and Human Services Secretary stated that children would NOT be reunited with parents who are in detention. The administration is holding children hostage to push parents to drop their asylum claims.
