Music is for everyone at CRMS!

[Vaughan Fleischfresser @VFleischfresser]

For the child who doesn’t like speaking in front of others, yet will sing their heart out. For the child who is misunderstood in the playground, yet embraced in a music ensemble. For the child who struggles in the classroom, yet flourishes on the stage. Music is for every child.

[Vaughan Fleischfresser @VFleischfresser]

People join music ensembles for many reasons - the music, the friendships, the challenge, the personal improvement, the collective endeavour, the indescribable rush of performing, the elation of creation, the laughs, the joy. Music ensembles are so important for so many reasons.

[Vaughan Fleischfresser @VFleischfresser]

Told you can’t sing? Nonsense. Told music isn’t for you? Nonsense. Told it’s too late to learn an instrument? Nonsense. It’s all nonsense. You can sing, music is for you, it’s never too late to learn an instrument, and your love of music is yours. Anything else is nonsense.

We have Tonal Energy available on all SVVSD iPads through SelfService. This app is a great resource for our music students. It has a tuner and a metronome to help students build their musical skills. It also helps w/ practice goals. Check it out!
