@SeanRyder27@Canucks I was there. I Called my Dad on a Forum Pay Phone to give him the news and by the time I got to the Canucks table they had already drafted again. Jari Kurri was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers just before me at #69
Between us we scored 620 goals in the NHL

So Sorry to hear the news about my friend Peter McNab. He was friendly, thoughtful, and caring in everything he did. A true hockey man from a great hockey family but, more than that he was just a pleasure to speak with every time we caught up. Sincere Condolences his Family

Mark, as Father’s Day approaches, I remember fondly how many great memories I had with my Dad, Floyd Crawford. You did a terrific job informing others about my son Dylan and the joys we share together with the Blackhawks.
Asking your dad for a job? Happens all the time.
Asking your kid for a job? Well, that's different.
My story on the Blackhawks' father/son, old-school/new-school coaching duo of Marc and Dylan Crawford: https://t.co/6pwUSAJn3q

How Lucky I was to be a young coach in the Leaf organization. A frequent visitor to help mentor us was George Armstrong. He mesmerized me with his hilarious Stories, and he help me learn so many lesson of the game. What a Champion of a man. RIP George.
He was so passionate about life and hockey. His competitiveness was matched only by his sense of humour. He loved to win, He loved to laugh and he has left us all with so many great memories. Gone too soon. RIP Uncle Pete
26yrs ago Pierre Lacroix gave me the opportunity of a lifetime. Together in Quebec and Colorado he did everything he could to help us, Make the playoffs, Finish atop of our division each year, and, Win the 1996 Stanley Cup. He was our Leader and the Av’s undisputed Architect...
He ran our team like a Family, always making sure every person was taken care of. This wasn’t an act , it was how he lived. He was a great husband to his wife, Colombe, Great father to Eric and Martin and he was Uncle Pete to all the kids of anyone involved with the Avalanche...
Sad to hear of the passing of Larry Mavety. He was always fun to talk with especially when I coached in the OHL. We shared many beers in his office in Belleville. He was very helpful to me as a young coach. A True Belleville Legend. Condolences to Larry’s Family and RIP Mav
