Crochet Kauai 💖💜💙

Disabled Latina artist: now crochet since I can create laying down. Sell knitting / crocheting supplies, handmade geek / nerd toys, baby blankets, hats, etc

@ama_a93 I sold on @etsy for YEARS. After going public they became *awful* for artists: it’s mostly mass produced things ppl were lying about being “handmade” & when I’d report them w/ evidence, nothing would happen bc they sold TONS! (this was before they officially allowed non-handmade)

@Joshuavila_ Except anyone with working eyes can instantly tell the difference between knitting and crocheting without any thinking or analyzation required simply by looking at the number of tools someone is using in their hands:

@ElliotAndersonv @jadeEstoner Folks, a simple way to tell if someone is knitting vs crocheting: does she have a tool in each hand? They're knitting needles. Does she have just one tool? It's a crochet hook.
Kind of like the difference between using a big ball in basketball or a little ball in baseball🙃

[Crochet Kauai 💖💜💙 @CrochetKauai]

@Joshuavila_ @IIIIllllIIllIIl @dynamofire Nope. In your analogy it would be the difference between skiing and snowboarding. *Completely* different tools and techniques used, but yes, both are done on snow.
(Crochet is done with a single hook in just one hand, while knitting needles are required in both hands to knit)

[Donia 🖖🇵🇷 ♿ @DoniaLilly]

@jbenny81 @RJ_Young She's crocheting, not knitting - crochet hooks would make a very poor weapon, unlike knitting needles...

@IIIIllllIIllIIl @dynamofire That's like saying basketball and baseball are the same think just because they're both sports played with some type of ball. 😒
