Don't rush tomorrow simply because everybody is talking about DANGOTE IPO.
Read the PROSPECTUS and understand the valuation, financial statements, risks, use of proceeds and ALLOTMENT RULES.
The Nigerian Exchange maintains an offer-document section where approved prospectuses are published.

And use an AUTHORISED SUBSCRIPTION CHANNEL rather than sending money to SOMEONE CLAIMING they can "secure" shares for you.

An apology does not automatically erase the offence or prevent an investigation.
In this case, according to the police, this wasn't merely a person saying “I heard OPay is shutting down.” Nope, The allegation is that a FABRICATED DOCUMENT was PRESENTED as an OFFICIAL OPay communication, telling customers to WITHDRAW their money because OPay was SUPPOSEDLY SHUTTING DOWN. OPay says it petitioned the police, and the POLICE say their DIGITAL-FORENSIC investigation TRACED the material to Hafsat's X account.

SHE apologised and DELETED the post ( that's relevant and should count in her favour.)

But the potential consequences of the original publication were serious. It CONCERNED a FINANCIAL INSTITUTION and explicitly ENCOURAGED customers to WITHDRAW their funds.

Investigate her, establish the facts, allow due process, and if the evidence shows DELIBERATE WRONGDOING, let the law take its course. If it shows a MISTAKE WITHOUT CRIMINAL INTENT, that should also be taken into account.
