Founded in 1972 We are run entirely by volunteers and fields football teams from U7s to Adults. We play in the NWYFL & SSL.

Silent Support Weekend is back!

We’re asking all spectators to join us in giving all our young players a great way to find their voice, make their own decisions and enjoy their game across all our matches this 15-16 March. 👏

At 7am this weekend my husband will have already left the house to go and check if the pitch is ok to play on. He could just wait until he gets there at half 8 like everyone else.

Saturday is the only day he can get a little lie in, he leaves mega early so that the other parents know ASAP so they may just get that lie in. It’s the small, hidden duties of a manager which make a big difference to the team AND the parents. 100 % dedication and always thinking of others.

Early this cold, blustery weekend, volunteers all around the UK will do this so parents can be informed ASAP. It’s not always easy to predict of a game is on or off untill the day of a game. Let’s give these men and women a little pat on the back and a thank you 👏👏
