This week is E-safety week at @croftonacademy. Students have been looking at how to stay safe online during IT lessons and will also have an e-safety well being Wednesday activity in form time. Further information about e-safety can be found on the school website. #WeAreCrofton

Today students from the SLC and members of the yr7 year group council took part in a campaigning session with Gillian Bell from @UKParliament. It was fantastic to hear the informed discussions taking place and the range of issues that our students chose to discuss. #WeAreCrofton

Our Christmas elves we’re out today delivering our charity candy canes. Thank you to everyone who supported the SLC kindest at Christmas project. We raised £219.02 which was donated to @WfldHospice. Merry Christmas from the student leadership team. #wearecrofton #kindness

It’s been a busy week this week for student leadership. Today the final votes were cast for the yr 7 SLC election & all form groups have now completed their elections to select their form representatives. We are looking forward to working with all our new leaders next half term,

The SLC met today for their first council meeting. On the agenda were Remembrance Sunday, Anti Bullying week, Odd Socks Day, Parliament Week & Kindness at Christmas. Our student leaders came up with some great ideas to develop the hard work put in last year. Exciting times ahead!

We've launched the £10 challenge! Students are being encouraged to work together to raise or donate monies to support Children In Need and our Kindness at Christmas work. Every penny helps; by working together we can make a difference to so many people!
