@SimonMiller316 Haven’t watched the show yet as I can’t stand the amount of ads so watch them the day after now. Looking at results though I’m not optimistic. Cody and Roman on top still puts a ceiling on new names and when one does break through they’ve had them lose a needless rematch

@BigTone1986 I’d want a replacement for Harness personally, think he’s too inconsistent and a bit too sloppy on ball to play fully central but good enough for backup across that line. Don’t think we need a RB either, Sorensen good this year IMO and McGuane injured too often to rely on

Hopefully they’ll correct that quickly, and if he wants a quick win with fans get us back to a back 4, this 3 at the back has failed for years now. A smaller squad might help get everyone pulling in same direction with the May Taylor Grant call outs rumours last season 2/2 #htafc

Drury as new manager is not going to get everyone on side, but when it’s announced club and fans have to put everything behind him or else it will be another mid table disaster. His football was more exciting but lacked results in a frail defence and late goals. 1/2 #htafc

@VitalHtafc This is where football is broken. There is nothing in it, no intent and the guy plays on with no issue until he realises he’s not getting to the ball. It’s not a foul and not a red card, but because they have VAR they want to use it and have set a standard that ruins the game

What a joke VAR has made this playoff final. Ridiculous. I don’t agree but can understand disallowing the 1st county goal but the stupid hair pulling rules again I can’t stand. Football in such a bad place at the minute #EFLPlayOffs

@GeorgePebble06 Leaving out that LG was also a well thought of coach having worked at Man Utd and Ipswich and DS was highly thought of here and offered a role in a higher league after we lost the play off but convinced to stay. I agree people are too negative but it’s a valid concern IMO

@MickeyDN7 It’s the recent failures that concern me. I’m not convinced Drury is right based on the 7 games he had with only 2 wins and couldn’t defend along with the recent “inexperienced” punts on Grant and Worthy last 2 years. Be delighted to be proved wrong and I’ll back him of course

@markgoldbridge Normally agree with you but not on this one. Only seen as harsh because of the Leeds punishment which was done when a rule wasn’t in place. Yes they’ll scout for tactics etc, but spying direct in training is cheating. Yes a replay might be better, but needed to make a point.

@SouthamptonFC @philmcnulty If you’re looking at this “financially” you have received no fine what so ever. You can’t claim a £200m fine when you can lose and not see it anyway. Cheating season long and in the playoff leg helped get you there (no matter how effective) you go what you deserve

@divadawni Look at who Corberan worked under before coming here. Stead and Drury don’t have that background. Plus just look at our recent history to know that’s the outliers. Schofield, Siewert, Worthington, Grant all in charge for decent spells as amateurs and it was easy to see.

Amazed at people supporting Stead and Drury as full time appointment. I like them but only difference to bringing in Grant is they’re local. No management experience, seems like repeating the same error to me. #htafc

@ward__dan Manning and Grant (towards the end) being boring have put Stead and Drury on a false platform IMO. More goals but results no better and actively throwing points away in half the games they took doesn’t make them a great option.

@theedgar501 Over the 2 nights 38% of time was bell to bell. As a live watching experience at home (UK) it’s abysmal to watch. Every women’s match night 1 needed 5 extra minutes. Night 2 was great but I watched following day with “we’ll be right back” ads removed

Couldn’t make the game tonight but let me get this right. Outplay Cardiff, hit the bar twice, few good saves from their keeper, should be more clinical AND the same linesman gets 2 decisions wrong changing a 2-0 win to a 1-1 draw. Pure #htafc drama 🤦‍♂️
