Hi John, Irish Jew here, daughter of a German born Holocaust survivor and no, I have never experienced antisemitism here in Ireland. I'm very happy with our boycott of the Eurovision and Richie Sadler's comments re the football match. I'm extremely proud of my fellow Irish and their stand against genocide. As my late mother taught me.."Never again means never again..to anyone ..anywhere... ever.." I hope this clarifies the issue for you.
As seen by @The42_ie, letter signed by 5 members of FAI General Assembly calls for an Extraordinary General Meeting as soon as possible to bring forward motion calling on the FAI to boycott Israel games. Need 10% of 145 members. Expect to have numbers by tomorrow. More to follow.
Brilliant result for @EoghanOCPBP 6.8% after polls had us on 3%
Pundits wrote us off+ we were excluded from debates but our campaign pushed on, driven by people-power politics, organising on council rents+ for a hopeful vision of a city we can live in. Onwards! 💪
@ConorReddy95@EoghanOCPBP Eoghan's campaign has shown people all across the constituency that people and more importantly communities, have real power. Little apples....
Roll on the next GE
A great result for PBP in Dublin Central. We increased our vote share by 50% with 6.7% first preferences.
Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin's organising against Council rent hikes will continue. People power can beat them.
FF/FG have taken an historic hammering. We need a left government.
The combined FF/FG vote in Dublin Central is the lowest in any by-election in the history of the state.
Their more than 100 year rule can be ended at the next election. To do that we need left parties to rule out coalition with them and commit to supporting a left government.
I've had the pleasure of working closely with Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin and the campaign team.
Eoghan is a principled ecosocialist, an organiser of people power, as well as an incredible musician.
If you're in Dublin Central, please come out to vote 1 for Eoghan and transfer left.
The government continues their approach of words without actions.
These are the 77 TDs who voted last night against our bill to sanction the apartheid state of Israel (NOT included are those who didn't vote / weren't there): https://t.co/EYXUagEknw
Shameful! FF, FG & Ind government publicly condemn Israeli regime for kidnap and abuse of Gaza flotilla on tv & radio, then vote(77-62) against the bill to sanction Israel that flotilla activists asked them to support. Media has a public service obligation to expose this duplicity
@lbmeyler@LeftistDad I know it's complicated but read the banner on the poll. Priorities! Not "Do you support?".
A direct question is, well, direct.
Is Israel committing genocide?
80 to 85% of Irish people say "YES"
15 to 20% of Irish people think the moon landing never happened.
Figures
On the Six One News Minister McEntee spoke about being horrified at the treatment of Irish citizens and called for sanctions on Israel.
Two hours later she voted against sanctions on Israel.
Enough said.
I’m a renter, like so many of my generation.
We work hard, pay huge rents and then see those rents pushed even higher while security feels further away every year.
We can't keep living like this!
Renters need to get organised + fight back. Join @CatuIreland
Great to get an update on the research I got funded into GBV+ DV in Finglas
Looking forward to seeing the final report +getting stuck in to drive change in D11 and across the City
H/T @hazelpbp whose advocacy secured the Unveiling the Shadows Report, which inspired this!

It is outrageous that @rtenews is excluding @EoghanOCPBP from ALL their election debates.
He is the only viable candidate being excluded.
Regardless of whether you support him you should sign petition to ensure the electorate gets to hear all views.
