The Lion of Judah came to the people. To reveal the way to the Father. But He was not just for the people of Israel. They were to be a lamp stand upon a hill. A light for the world to come to God. He is a God for all.
Who’s Will?
To walk in the garden of the Lord, you first need to step out of your own. The plants can still be beautiful. But without Him they are just work to toil over. When you take it back to the bases of what the plan was. You see that the garden is now. The garden is here
Two Pillars.
Life is a path that we are told that is two sided. Life…Death…Law…Grace…This is an incomplete narrative. It’s not one side or the other. But the Path between, that’s where we were meant to be. The source of it all. For He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Anchored.
Living for self is like being chained to the fires of the world. Every sin clamped on, holding you in a place that most are content with. But Jesus has been there waiting for you to reach out to the anchor that keeps you from blowing way in the storm and breaks chains
Luke 1: 78-79.
A new day will dawn on us from above because our God is loving and merciful. He will give light to those who live in the dark and in death’s shadow. He will guide us into the way of peace.
Even at Our Lowest.
Nothing scarier then the thought of drowning. You struggle, you fight, you even barter. But you can do nothing to move up and out of that place. But when you finally realize that it is Jesus that saves not ourselves. He will come to you like a torpedo.
Rooted.
His story is rooted throughout all of history. The story of God walking in His creation. The roots run deep. And the Living Water flows out from the base of the tree. At the heart is the path to the Father that only He could have opened for us.
Move.
We can be ok in our walk. So much so that even when we sin, the sin can seem to be ok. That as long as no one knows then what harm will it do. But we need to remember that our slanted view is in fact that. Slanted. But that God sees everything and wants us to lean on Him.
Psalms 51:17
“The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”
We come to you Lord with all of us or none. Like the fire that consumes the the wood. So to His glory and grace burns that which we offer up to Him.
Growth.
To grow we need a few key things. A place for our roots to grow. Water and Light. We focus on the darkness around us. Missing how in the middle of everything advances. We keep growing larger. The water supply keeps growing as well. The Light is always constant.
And it was Good.
We spend so much time on the what was in pursuit of the what if. Forgetting the origin of all things. And Who was the creator. When the world just seems to be ripping itself apart in front of you. Know that the sun still shines for Him.
Fill Me.
It is super important the source from which you are filled. On the one side we have “do it yourself under your own power and strength” culture. On the other side “I can do all things thru Jesus”. Is like being filled with helium but better because it’s the Holy Spirit.
Open.
When we to it ourselves without Gods consult. Can end us at a dead end. With what we were walking away from coming up fast on our heels. All hope can feel lost. But we must move then the waters will split and a way will be open to the place God has always wanted us to be.
The Way Is Open.
We live in a world where the things that God has given us is taken and twisted. But there is a brighter place where Jesus has made for us. It’s not just words when we say Your kingdom come, Your will be done. This is us believing that Heaven is on Earth.
Heart.
Standing before you may feel like something incredibly hard. The fear that you have to confront. That challenge you’ve put off. But in that moment you are not alone. You are at your strongest when you’re on your knees with your arms out stretched to His grace.
I Am With You.
Being lost among the world is no small thing. It can feel lonely. Scary. But on that path you are not alone. Even when the path looks broken or incomplete. He can make it clear. With He all things are possible.
Thirst No More.
If you knew Who was asking, you’d be asking He for a drink. One which you’d thirst no longer. For the Living Water would spring up from inside filling your well. Overflowing it, watering not only inside but also your roots, and the roots of those closest to.
His Will.
Repent and follow. In the middle of the storms of life it can be hard. But if we are in His will the struggle is lightened. His yoke is light. But we must take that step. Not with fear but with joy. Knowing that the path leads to Him.
Let Them Hear.
In chaos there can be calm. In pain there can be relief. In sorrow there can be joy. We all have or will walk in these. Some all at the same time. While this can be hard, He says that He walks with us. That through these can be testimony of the Kingdom.
Under My Wing.
If we would only go to the Father, He would cover us like a mother hen covers her chicks. Protecting us from what may come. Know that you are beloved and He wants no bad to come to His children. Opening and closing the ways before us.
