Crossbar are looking for Education Mentors to join our Alternative Provision team in Shrewsbury, Telford and Ludlow.

👉 Term-time only (9am–3pm, 30 hours per week)
👉 Salary £19,000–£22,500 (depending on experience & qualifications)
👉 Work with young people aged 7–25, providing support in English, Maths, life skills, and mentoring.
👉 Help nurture confidence, resilience and brighter futures.

If you’ve got experience working with young people (particularly with SEN/learning difficulties), and a passion for helping them grow, we’d love to hear from you.

📍 Full-time & part-time roles available.
🚗 Driving licence required.

The Crossbar Group Internal Conference 2025! 🙌

Watch to see what we got up to….

Specialised Autism Training for our CAP staff with Education In Sport (EIS) following a presentation on achievements of 24/25 as well as statistics and outcomes. EIS then made their way outside for training and a workshop on a Child’s ‘Movement Library’!

We were also inspired by guest speaker Marcus Sharrad, who shared so much wisdom with us from the responsibility of being a coach educator at primary level through to a neuroscience workshop in order to gauge more empathy towards our CAP learners.

We wrapped it all up with a BANG, celebrating our teams with awards for CAP, EIS, and E&T (Education & Training) 🎉

Community, Education, Alternative Provision, Sport and Employment Pathways are the passion of every department of The Crossbar Group….what a year it’s been!!!!
