Sadly this will be our last tweet π We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported our school over the years. I'm sure you'll join us in wishing our #FinalFive all the best in their new schools. Have a lovely Christmas everyoneπfrom all at Crossroads x
With two days left at Crossroads, today all the pupils and most of the staff have been spending a lovely day together in Elgin, with a Christmas movie, chippy lunch (pupil choice!) and bowling π πΌπΏπ¬ππ³
Itβs hard to believe we are about halfway through our final week at Crossroads π We have spent the past two days focussing on all things Christmas, including Christmas crafts, baking, and active games with Ryan ππ πΌβοΈβοΈπ
We have the ice to ourselves this morning! Adults are so proud of how much everyone is challenging themselves and showing confidence on the ice βΈβοΈ
Today we got the train to Elgin and did some shopping! We each had a Β£15 budget to buy some gifts we thought a child in our area would like for Christmas, then we went to our local #missionchristmas drop off point with the gifts. @MorayFirthRadio @mfrcashforkids @cashforkids
Putting all the basketball skills weβve been learning into practice today with a 3 vs 3 game! We were working hard to follow all the rules weβve been learning πβΉοΈββοΈβΉοΈββοΈπ
A challenge at lunch club last week - We were only allowed to have the tasty treats (like marshmallows and melted chocolate!) if we tried some new fruits first. We were all really good at trying things like banana chips, pomegranate, passion fruit and grapefruit!
In the run up to Halloween, we had a very messy but fun Halloween themed lunch club. We each had to complete a challenge to earn some letters, then use the letters to make the name of a Halloween movie. If we were all successful, we'd win a Halloween goodie bag!
We always get lots of juicy apples on our apple tree every year. This year we all helped to bake Eve's Pudding, apple turnovers, apple crisps and even chocolate apples as as Autumn treat!
