What do we see? A lot of fun stuff:

1 - it is 1st GW for @FPL_Cortado and amazing 1st place straightaway. Only 15 votes, but astonishing 84.6% accuracy and +132.4 points! How’s that even possible?

Answer is simple, as the classics say: Rice Rice Baby.
+54 points are coming from picking Rice over Rogers, Palmer and Salah

Also 4 duels landed +20 points each - we can see an underdog hunter, a real sniper. Is it luck? Will see next GW

2 - Difference between 2nd and 3rd place is razor thin - 0.2 points. But it allowed Imkavee to climb the overall 2nd place in leaderboard - well done!

3 - 1st place did 10 times less votes but scored 50% more points - that’s the beauty of CrowdFPL - you choose your own strategy to beat the Crowd

Not to be dramatic, but… this is big. Really big update!

We didn’t build CrowdFPL just as a prediction contest. Yes, there’s rating. Yes, there’s competition.

But at its core? It’s pure crowd wisdom. Every GW, thousands of small decisions. Tiny edges. Gut calls.

Sure — we’ve got great point prediction models from @SolioAnalytics, @FPL_Marcello, @FFH_HQ, @FFScout, etc.

But let’s be honest. Our fantasy brains are models too. And they come with something extra: … instinct

So here it is.

🚀 Crowd Power is now live.

Every GW, a full table ranking players by “power”. Based on how managers actually voted across all duels. Not projections. Not theory. Real crowd sentiment before the deadline.

It’s the simplest way to compare players for the upcoming GW. Use it for: captain decisions, bench vs start, short-term transfers, sanity checks before locking your team.

This is the essence of CrowdFPL. What the crowd really thinks — in one place.

Love that idea — makes total sense. We’ve been thinking about this too. Yesterday we added the “My FPL Team” filter, which shows only duels involving your own players. But you’re right — that doesn’t fully solve the “too many matchups” problem.

We’re now considering adding something like Favorites / My Duels. So you can explicitly mark duels and then filter the list to only those. Would that solve it for you?

Winner pulled away by just over a point. Margins are tight at the top. These are the kind of managers worth keeping an eye on

Shoutout to @LuckyLeo171 — could’ve easily won it. But big swings in heavy duels cost him:
• Mbeumo + Rogers over Rice
• Virgil over Timber
That’s -49 rating points right there. Brutal.

Also… @claudeai finishes 8th. After last week’s total LLM meltdown, this is a proper bounce back. Maybe the bots are learning?

We’re always listening

A lot of the recent tweaks on CrowdFPL came directly from your feedback.

Before we drop a bigger feature update (soon 👀), we pushed a few small improvements to make Duels easier to navigate:

• Early Bonus is now visible on the GW Duels page
• Filter for newly created duels
• Connect your FPL team and see duels involving your own players
• Price range filter

Nothing flashy. Just cleaner, faster, simpler.

Everyday we ask ourselves - is AI going to take over human FPL managers? Stupid question to ask everyday, but still

After @OfficialFPL and @FFH_HQ introduced AI co-pilots this season it became evident that AI might change how FPL managers interact with data and decision-making.

That is why a couple GWs ago we added different LLM models to fight our best managers in fantasy duels.

Here are the results for GW27

Shoutout to @ChatGPTapp , @grok and @MistralAI - it was tough and you almost made it to top 150 managers

What are the conclusions? None, Skynet is knocking on my door as I write it. So keep calm and triple cap Haaland, humans are supreme FPL managers!

Another manager who absolutely deserves a shout after GW27 — @FplFreud 👏

97 votes. 63% accuracy. Straight into the Top 3.

But here’s the fun part:
There was a clear anti-Bruno theme in his picks.
He backed Haaland over Bruno.
Munoz over Bruno.
Semenyo.
Enzo.
Gabriel.
Sarr.
Mbeumo.

Consistently fading Bruno.

And then… Bruno vs Rice. He backed Bruno. -19.7 rating points.

If he had stayed loyal to the anti-Bruno script, he might’ve taken the whole GW...

Definitely, another serious one to watch in the coming GWs.
