It’s powerful to see the older generation defying the regime’s attempts to silence a woman who used her body to protest against Islamic ideology.

This is the Women, Life, Freedom movement—one woman’s courage uniting a nation. The regime should be afraid.

The Islamic Republic tried to discredit a woman from the Science and Research University by labeling her “mentally unstable. They are failed.

Now, we are all united.

Knowing what those sick bastards do to people for less, the titanium ovaries this woman has is just amazing courage and inspiring.

She couldn't take it anymore and lashed out. No matter the cost to herself, she had nothing left in her but resistance.

These are the people that deserve support around the world. I'm hoping that between military and social pressure we see a different Iran sometime soon.

This sort of thing doesn’t make change in one moment. But a few more happen and it makes ordinary people stop and think, then the change starts. But it always starts somewhere.

When you lose the youth, you lose the country. 70% Iranians are below the age of 35. Ayatollahs' days are numbered. It's a matter of "when" not "if" they are removed.

It’s not really a matter of conceding power. Its about having it ripped from their crusty ass fingers by the people with the energy and ability to do so.

Funny how she can walk around in undies and none of the guys spontaneously self-immolates - it’s like it doesn’t matter how someone dresses.

How weak and pathetic these men are - threatened by the absence of a piece of cloth. I laugh at them.

The girl on the other hand - phew what a hero! Clearly fed up with the army of insecure clowns and packing more bravery than the entire lot together.

Islamic Azad University? Azad means Free as in freedom.

Fun fact: the famous Azadi Tower in Tehran, which also means freedom, was designed by a famous Iranian architect, Hossein Amanat, who, funnily enough, is a member of the Baha’i Faith… the largest minority religion in Iran that is heavily persecuted and whose members lack fundamental freedoms like access to university, having legal jobs, documentation and passports, having their graveyards destroyed and members locked up for peacefully practicing their faith.

Iranian student #ArezooKhavari took her own life today after being sent home from a school trip for wearing jeans instead of the school’s recommended attire.

She had received harassment and threats for months for refusing the mandatory hijab and this seemed to be the final straw for Arzoo.

The school failed to offer condolences to Arzoo’s family or even follow up after the incident.

Not naked. No stripping. Just a girl who wanted to wear the clothes she wanted to wear and was driven to feel she was better off dead by adults who had been charged with protecting her.

The “mental health crisis” in Iran is called misogyny.
