@zoecabina Right wing populist movements are spiritual, not intellectual. And they are national, not global. This kind of commentary is always going to be a part of them.
@ClareONeilMP In the face of a populist uprising, the elites will always band together even if they're nominally from different "sides" of politics, because the true fight is populism (the people) vs elitism (the ruling class).
@Crickettrag1965 We're in the box seat because we've offered much more money than anyone else and the lions can't match it. Let's hope he's worth it over the journey. I'm a big fan but it's a lot of money.
@bazz_27 The NGA system was well intentioned but it's just become a scam that gets cynically exploited by clubs to get first dibs on players that were always going to get drafted. The AFL should scrap it.
@andrewbogut@IzzyFolau This is a direct product of our legal system and current laws. Sporting leagues are considered employers for Fair Work purposes and they're now terrified of being sued for millions on the basis of gender/sexuality discrimination. It's the laws that are the problem.
@hasumpstuffedup His commentary on the Nick Watson play on call was so bad it was funny. One of his arguments was that the man on the mark was the one "not on the line". It was quite eye-opening about how his mind works.
@EmlynBreese Ralphy had been woeful on this incident, almost like he's ragebaiting by pretending not to understand basic geometry. This tweet isn't even the worst one.
@RalphyHeraldSun Come on, Ralphy. You need to concede that at some point, too far off the line is too far, regardless of advantage. Watson was way further off the line than this.
