Ann Mallek, our White Hall district supervisor, was at the post office Saturday, she was told that people mailing tax forms on Monday should be sure to get a hand postmark showing the date.

If you leave mail in a blue post box, it may not be postmarked for two to three days.

In addition to the Flood Watch for the potential for flooding across eastern WV, much of MD, D.C., and northern & northwest VA., a Tornado Watch has now been issued until 10pm for parts of central and southern VA. That area should be alert for the possibility of tornadoes.
