@RonSCantor I think you need to read through Matthew 23 again. And see clearly that all the bloodshed on earth from righteous able to Zachariah would come up upon that generation.
Judgment is covenantal , and first century Israel broke the covenant promise,

@Joel7Richardson@TheAggregate3 The vultures are speaking of literal Rome as the sacked Jerusalem in 70Ad. The Roman army was known as “vultures” to the 1st century audience.

And come to find great issues with that hermeneutic, you guys have misread the messianic hope. The nowness of the kingdom was consistently on the lips of Jesus.
