Each Saturday during the festival we will be drifting round Edinburgh:
Our first outing (5/06/21):
Middle Meadow Walk 2pm - - > Castle Esplanade 2:40pm - - > North Bridge 3:20pm - - > Calton Hill 4:00pm
Thanks to @concreteblockgallery for use of their space to build the cart!
‘Here to Play’ a nomadic installation by Crumble Mag for @archifringe, drifting through Edinburgh’s public spaces over the course of the festival asking its participants what it means to play in the contemporary city.
Reflecting on Crumble’s varied approach as a platform that challenges prevailing architectural discourse and as an open community for all those interested in architecture.
Where do we go to play? How can our spaces be playful? Has the pandemic made us (re)interpret how we play?

This @CrumbleMag piece that preceded our public launch at 2019’s @ArchiFringe just turned 2!
Since then this project has engaged >4000 people, been invited to 15 schools of architecture, and a live student project - part of MSA Live 21, began yesterday.

This @CrumbleMag article was the very first article featuring the AAS project, + the latest was in the @TIME climate issue!
There is still much to transform in our built environments but hopefully we are nearing a tipping point where everything changes.
