@Grimrubix_MNU Yeah depends on the brand and stuff, Australia doesn’t need to wash its rice because we make out own rice here and the quality is good. Cant speak to elsewhere

@Grimrubix_MNU Its one of those things that started out culturally as a way to have clean rice in some areas that became generalised out even after other places solved the issue

@Grimrubix_MNU Washing rice is entirely dependant on the quality of rice you get. If your rice is full of grit and/or gotten from polluted rice fields you should wash it (but not just under water until its clear, theresan actual method). If its beither then washing does nothing
