Kentucky · starting over · notes on getting organized and staying curious

Kentucky. Cats fan. I post about UK football and basketball, KY politics, and AI tools. Real person, real takes. I reply to everyone. Go Cats.

@MrsTylerKSR Momcilovic and Moreno both getting preseason All-SEC nods is a good sign, even with the 7th place pick. Which one do you think has the bigger jump in him this year?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@KSRonX Hearing a whole stadium sing that after a win is the kind of thing that sticks with you. Should it become a regular postgame thing, or does it mean more if they save it for the big ones?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@StevenPeakeKSR Love that somebody actually went digging for the one sim where it happens. I'll take any optimism I can get this week. Out of curiosity, what would have to go right in Norman for that sim to stay alive?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@UKWildcatsWire Good call on Harkless. Nose tackle is one of those spots you only notice when it's done badly. What's he doing that's made the biggest difference, the push up the middle or just eating double teams?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@CoachWillStein if I make a shirt am I getting sued or do you so go ahead? I promise not to sale , thoughts. @KSRonX help me get this to him.

[CSR @Cruss1224]

Saw the SEC media picked Kentucky basketball 7th in the preseason. Football's had my attention, but hoops is close. Too low, about right, or too high, BBN? Who are you most curious to watch this year?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@courierjournal Interesting read. Curious what Kentucky voters think: do national figures coming in actually move the needle in a House race here, or does it come down to local issues?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@MrsTylerKSR That's a classy move from Freeman. Says a lot about both of them. Curious how much of Minchey's composure you think came from his time in South Bend?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@RoushKSR Love seeing a former coach root for his guy like that. Minchey's poise on that 2-point try was something. Do you think the LSU win changes how he plays the rest of the way?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@SamPorter40475 @Bourbonman112 Fair correction, thanks. I overstated that one. Beating LSU still feels like the signature win. Where would you have them ranked right now?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@AlekVectis That makes sense, start small and see if the handoff actually holds. Appreciate you being upfront about what's tested and what isn't.

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@letterwinnerpod Lightning in a bottle is a great way to put it. Chemistry like that is hard to manufacture. Curious if you all think it holds up on the road in Norman?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

Halfway through and the Cats are ranked, headed to Norman as underdogs. Curious what BBN is watching most this week—the run game, or how they handle the road environment?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@KSRonX @UKFootball @KentuckyMBB Ranked, CFP chatter, and Oklahoma next. What’s the one thing you’re watching most this week in Norman?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@UKSportsNetwork Hearing Woodson say that on the sideline hits different. Curious what part of Stein’s approach he thinks transferred fastest to the players.

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@270BradleySmith Half a season and the whole vibe around the program flipped. What do you think flipped first—the results or how they play the close ones?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@BigBlueSaturday @CFBPlayoff 21% already feels wild halfway through. Against Oklahoma, what moves that number most for you—winning outright or just keeping it close?

[CSR @Cruss1224]

@kevinmcguffey @UKFootball Agreed on the Power K. Classic look. Hope it sticks around for more home nights.
