@noLiferxliger@ComradeJak3 That's why I don't care if someone makes fake cards, because we can still play and collect them. I know it could lead to scams, but if you're smart enough you don't buy a card more than 5 or 10. Rarity is just a cause yo make you feel spécial, any market must not be a monopoly
@noLiferxliger@ComradeJak3 Yes, but we can do "useless" things without necessarily consent on spending time, effort, and money on a gacha-type system designed to encourage us to spend more and more.
@noLiferxliger@ComradeJak3 But what market?! A market of usless cardboard with a random design .it can be fun to collect but no one should pay more than 5 bucks for anything like that. You're just feeding the machine, and they doesn't care about any of you, they just want you to pay more and give you less
🎙Eiichiro Oda :
There are adults that kill people while declaring, "This is a holy war!", or "This is justice!" And there are children that see that. One Piece will continue for quite some time. All the while praying for world peace.
My inner thoughts are always: world peace.
These were her conditions to return to ice-skating:
-She picks the music
-She has full control over how she looks
-She gets to eat whatever she wants. Her coaches can’t starve her anymore
-The choreography will be a collaborative effort w/ her, she gets to put elements in that she wants to
-She decides when she needs a break from training, never pushing past her limit
-And her father has to keep his controlling ass out of her art. She said ‘I love you dad, but you’re not allowed back in.’
Alyssa Liu skated for the joy of it, not for a medal, not for prestige, because she just loves her art.
She retired at 16 - a world champion - because she lost touch with the joy. The men around her were driving her career, starving, shaping and controlling her. She rebelled and cast off the chains to go live her best life as a normal teen girl.
She returned a young woman unapologetically and uncompromisingly in charge of her own joy and passion, here to do it her way, and only her way.
Became world champ at 19 in 2025, and now gold medalist at 20.
