Dear Nigerians,
Fifteen National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members were kidnapped in Kogi State on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, while returning from their orientation camp in Bayelsa State.
They were traveling to Abuja with Peace Mass Transit. They were intercepted along the Ofu/Itobe–Onicha-Igo axis in Ofu Local Government Area. The passenger manifest is attached.
The person in the video is the sister of one of the abducted victims. Please lend your voice & kindly share or retweet. They need to be rescued & reunited with their loved ones. 🙏

She was a woman who sold food in Enugu. That was her crime. IPOB members allegedly bought food from her small restaurant, and for that the Nigerian DSS stormed her home on 23 November 2021, seized her and her husband, and disappeared her into detention.
They took her from Enugu and sent her north — to Wawa Barracks in Niger State. There she was held without charge, without trial, without access to court. She fell ill. She complained of severe pain. Instead of medical care she was ignored, mocked, and left to deteriorate until she died. Her husband, held in the same facility, was never told. He only learned of her death years later, after his own release in December 2025, when activists forced the truth into the open. The DSS finally admitted she had died in their custody.
What was her offence? Selling food. That is all. In the eyes of the Nigerian state, feeding an alleged IPOB member was enough to abduct a mother, dump her in a northern detention facility, deny her treatment, and let her die in silence.
Will she get justice? The answer is no. The same system that arrested her without warrant, detained her without charge, transferred her far from home, and covered up her death for years will not suddenly deliver accountability. The powerful protect their own. The poor and the Igbo who dare to exist near any association with the demand for freedom are disposable.
Calista Ifedi is dead because she sold food. Her children grew up without their mother. Her husband spent years in the same dark place that killed her. And the Nigerian state has offered only silence and eventual, reluctant confirmation.

UPDATE: It has just been brought to my attention that this young man posted below (Chukwunonso Aloefuna from Nando, Anambra State) was abducted since 2021 by men, reportedly to be from DSS, and his location remains unknown to this day.
The person who informed me, wrote this to me: “I haven't heard anything about Aloefuna chukwunonso from Anambra. Please Sir, I have even seen him in my dream once and I was asking him that I thought he is dead and he laughed and said no, that they tried all they could for him to confess to something but he didn't. And he said that people think that he's dead and he said but see me nah sound and healthy. So please Sir do something about him”
This is indeed very sad and tragic. So, while I’m minded to activate all legal/judicial measures to locate him & defend him, I appeal to anyone with pertinent information to send me a DM. Thank you.

Today I celebrate H.E @PeterObi as he turns 65.
Before I've this notion that all politicians are the same until I decided to follow and study your person then I realised, you're totally different.
You're the embodiment of everything good that we hope for in Nigeria.
May you be happy and be joyful in this your new age.
Death will be far away from you, only good things will continue to come your way.
You'll eventually be the President of Nigeria by God's grace.
Happy birthday to you sir 🎈🎊🎉🎉🎉🎂
This is the man I am supporting❤️❤️❤️
