Japanese candle sticks
A candle consists of a body and a shadow sticking out at the top or bottom. These show the opening, closing, high and low points of a particular period. A red candle indicates a decline in price and a green candle indicates increase in price.

- are not profitable (musical chairs)
- survive by selling their own tokens
- give high incentives for locking your tokens
- have a large total supply, but only a small circulation supply
- involves loans

Market timeframes
The timeframe you choose, dictates what a candle or candles represent.
Example, in a 4 hour timeframe, a candle represents 4 hours of trading.
It shows all the data available within that specific time of trading.
You may be tempted to look for different patterns on the charts to try and trade them, try not to get hung up on candlestick patterns without considering the context or timeframe.
